I've learnt the hard way to portion out DH's lunch as soon as I've served dinner. Otherwise what should have been 2 or 3 serves for another day/to be frozen ends up being either all gone into his lunch (and rarely all eaten because it's too much flaming food!) or a uselessly small portion he may as well have just taken anyway!!!

Today I have yet to complete a task without interruptions, the most popular choice of interruption is 'mum I'm hungry'

It's cold and wet and since our last friend from our area moved a fair distance away, I have no bloody idea what to do with DS during this rainy and cold weather. Normally we would go visit someone

I'm feeling like a lousy mother this afternoon.

@JR03 and @binnielici, the point ended up being moot anyway. DS has pretty well refused all food all day.... and then threw up on my feet while I was making dinner. So I guess he hasn't been feeling crash hot all day, judging by the unexplained clinginess.

Oh poor baby. Hope he feels better soon and you don't have too rough a night!

Aside from that being annoying... I'd love the recipe if you'd like to share!

1 can campbells chicken and corn soup
About 3/4 (or a bit more) of a carton of sour cream
1 teaspoon (or more depending on your preference) of curry powder

Mix together in an oven proof dish. Maybe chuck in some grated cheese in if you want. I don't, but my step dad does.

Add broccoli florets (I usually get almost an entire medium head of broccoli in), and the meat from a bbq chook (I usually just buy one and put all but the breast meat in. But have done it before with a roast chook we've done ourselves. But it costs the same and I would rather make sweets).

Give it a stir, make sure the broccoli and chicken is coated. Smooth down the top. Cover with cheese. Cook on 180 until heated through and cheese is golden. Serve with rice.
