I fessed up to DH so he checked it out. The battery may have dislodged. Still unsure on whether any long term damage but its on for now.

My day has settled down. Just trying to wind down DS so I can just have some me time.

My car is about to die!

Was supposed to go to brunch with a friend but my car started to shake and smell of burnt rubber

Am currently on maternity leave at half pay and can't afford a new car .... Or anything else 😁 (currently driving (or was driving) a 2002 Corolla)

DH drank the rest of the milk and didn't even leave me a splash for my morning cup of tea. 😑

    Have been thinking of you.

I'm sorry it's such a sucky situation. You can do it. You're half way through.

Ffs DH pick up your feet when you get up in the middle of the night - instead of shuffling off like a shambling zombie. Wakes me every fecking time 😑

Does DS want the nice, fresh & hot Vegemite toast I made him for breakfast? No. He wants the 2 day old, plain bread roll he thieved from the kitchen counter that I was yet to throw out. Sigh.

The males in this house (cat included!) seem to hear and retain about 5% of what I say to them. Man - I would love to have this skill...
