Look up videos of puppies or kittens. That should help!

Me: 'DH will you be able to take time off work if DS has a temp tomorrow?'
    DH: 'No I can't - I'm needed at work'

This is after whinging that he has nothing to do at work and is just there 'in case someone needs help'. Work from home! I have no sick leave left and had 'the talk' about my leave already.

Ah well, I am still recovering from strange sickness yesterday so can prob do with the time away from work.

DH bought some orange juice yesterday at the shops so I thought I'd have half a glass with breakfast. Turns out it's orange and mango and I don't really like mango...

I can't bring myself to make a cup of coffee this morning because yesterday I used the kitchen kettle to fill up the container in my car that holds the water to clean my windscreen and used the outside tap to fill it... And.....omg....TWO spiders must have been on the tap and I didn't notice because I saw them scurrying around inside the jug afterwards 😫 I freaked out. I'm still freaked out today, even after washing the kettle out, I can't.. I can't bring myself to use it! There were SPIDERS in it! How can I enjoy a coffee now, knowing what I know?
I will let DH make a few coffees in it first I think... he can drink away all of the imaginary spider remnants before I'm brave enough to touch it.... 😉

Firstly, I hate writing an entire post only to lose it when it comes to post time.

Next is a pregnant hormonal rant...

I am exhausted. I STILL get nausea at 25 weeks. DH has planned an outing to a brewery today. It requires a walk to the train, 2 trains and walk from the station x2. He 'can't' drive as he 'needs' to drink. I don't really drive and don't want to drive to/from the brewery. We will get home late. DS will prob go crazy. I will be left to deal with it as he only wants mummy.

    I am just too tired.

If he's catching the train why do you need to go?

No way I'd be doing that.

Because he revved up DS who is now dying to go and pretty much wants to go as a family. I don't mind being there - just the hassle of getting there. We have since discussed the situation and I'll drive home. There will not be much traffic. Pretty straight route home so I feel confident enough that I'll be ok.

It's not fun doing a billionty trips from the front door to bring in a massive load of shopping, cases of drink and water, and 12x25 kg bags of soil on your own in summer.

It's less fun when your son is following you around, getting in the way and bleating about which bag his effing toy car is in.

It's even less fun when son suggests 'maybe you should just let daddy do this. He can do everything. Just wing up and ask him to help, ok?' and you have to bite your tongue. Very. Very. Hard.
