I was doing Monday weigh ins but switched to Friday's.
I'm feeling good - my clothes feel looser which is nice.
I've been eating loads of veggies because I can't go too heavy on the protein as it puts unnecessary stress on my new kidney.

Stir fried veggies with chillies, garlic, ginger and soy which I'll usually have with some grilled chicken or fish or a small steak.

    Can I join please? 😀

Will need to weigh myself tomorrow for an exact start weight but I'm guessing
    SW 74.1
    GW 68kg
    UGW 63kg
I'm going to do a modified 5:2 and really trying hard to cut out any processed crap or sugar binges!! Also going to try and cut down on the whole family's intake of red or processed meat and include way more fish and vegetarian main meals. We are already pretty good with fruit and veg so will aim to continue of course!
I'm not able to exercise much currently due to an injury so weekly clinical Pilates plus some swimming is it for now.

Dinner tonight was a quinoa and spiced pumpkin salad with goat cheese, rocket, cucumber, tomatoes and pumpkin seeds- YUM!!

Edited to add: accurate starting weight

Thank you but it's not really a recipe as such - I just use what I have in the fridge and go from there!
This one was !/4 cabbage, 250g mushrooms, two bunches of asparagus, an onion, a bunch of silverbeet, two stalks of celerly and a zuchini, 3 garlic cloves, chilli paste and ginger paste (I buy, mince and freeze because it's not readily available where I live)
So I just get my wok smoking hot with peanut oil and chuck my onion, garlic, chilli and ginger in then my harder veggies and let them cook for a bit, then add my veg that need less cooking, my sauces of choice and then lastly any spinach, silver beet etc..

Very happy with how this week went, not much alcohol, I refused the many offers of getting take-away from DH and I exercised every week on top of my usual walks.
So I think I got a well deserved loss.

My challenge goal of 69kg is quite a stretch though so we'll see if I make it.
I just notice that the 10 weeks will end on Dec 28, so to me it's more of a NYE challenge!!

@meredithgrey when a loss feels small I translate it to a quarterly loss.

400gr a week is 5kg loss by quarter! 20 a year so that's massive especially for a not so good week. Well done 😊

Gain of 1.5kg this weekend, after a bad weekend. I exercised Mon - Thurs, but on Friday I was busy getting ready for the kids' birthday party which meant I was eating leftovers, cake batter etc and no exercise. Saturday and Sunday was the same. So I am bloated, feel like crap, and up 1.5kg.

New week. Avoided the leftover cake and went for a run this arvy.

    Just completed a 5.5km walk/ run.

I love how great I feel afterwards. I find it a great way to release stress after a full on day with kids!!!
