Ta @Chiefsgirl. So if the only reason you don't do Clexane on the day of transfer is because of the risk of bleeding from the catheter then it's better to risk that scenario than blood clots from a long haul flight. Got it ta!
Now I'm just unsure when to start Clexane. Today's (obv) Thursday, I fly on Saturday, FET on Monday. Should I start today or just wait until Saturday before the long haul flight? Thoughts?
@Bongley Yep, just the single transfer again. As much as I'd love to transfer the last 2 embryos from SD1 in one go, the 'risk' of twins for this single mum is a bit too much.

@Charlie74 I did the Gonal-F and Menopur combination in Cycle 4 and Puregon/Menopur in Cycle 5. Wazza had me split the doses in half and do half in the morning and half at night and I did Gonal-F/Puregon one day and alternated the other day with the Menopur.

The Menopur does have the LH in it and it's also naturally derived (from the urine of menopuausal nuns) whereas the other 2 are synthetic compositions of FSH. It's used to help improve egg quality. Some Girls just use the Menopur alone as the stimming drug while others use it in combination with the other 2.

It's usual to have some eggs that are immature etc at EPU. I think at our age it's a bit rare to have almost all of them mature but as you know, it doesn't reflect the quality of them unfortunately though there is the whole "safety in numbers" thing you have when you have a good cohort to begin with

Thanks for the good wishes for Monday's transfer, from a few pages back girls. I fly out on Saturday.
So who are the first girls to be POAS in the coming days?
7.4mm's is good enough Luv and you also saw your hamburger which is another thing they ideally want to see for transfer Women have got their BFP's on less of a lining than that!!! 6mm's is the bare minimum so you're doing just fine

Can you not start the Clexane today then take your last shot on Sat for the flight?? Then resume the day after transfer?? Getting very excited for you Luv!!!

    and sending prayers your way!!!!!

Ta @BlondeinBrisvegas. The sonographer who did my scan was happy with the 7.4mm & burger but I've got serious lining envy from some of the other girls on here! Plus last months AF following my fresh transfer wasn't nearly as heavy as I would have thought after taking the Progy so I've been a bit suss about whether it's thick enough.
Good plan but I have my transfer on Monday morning and fly home a few hours later. It'll be weird only packing a handbag to go on a long haul flight!!
Enjoy receiving your little poppet @Corbes! Yay!!

@Charlie74 I did Gonal f 225 first cycle and got 19 eggs with 17 mature. But they weren't good quality - 7 disintegrated over night after fertilisation, two fertilised abnormally and then by day 5 only two were left. This time I've been on 225 menopur and have a similar number of follicles but I was changed to menopur in the hope it would improve egg quality. I am the same as you in that I am actually hoping for less than 17 eggs this time but that I'll get at least one of decent quality. I guess I'll be able to tell you more after my EPU !

Not great news this morning for my day 11 scan, in fact worst of any cycle yet (2xIUI and 6 x IVF/ICSI)... Only 2 follies measuring 9 and 12. First time on letrozole so it's definitely back to clomid next rest/non-IVF cycle. Even on clomid only I usually get 4-6 follies. Charlotte is going to scan me again on Monday (Wazza away till Tuesday)..
As a reminder, this was a 'do something' cycle after 6 IVF with OE before looking at O/S DE.
How you do get through the work day with such ****ty news?

@MamaKes I'm sorry to hear that Luv😦 It must be terribly disappointing & upsetting for you (((hugs))).

Would you consider cancelling the Cycle & having another crack with Clomid &/or something else Wazza might have up his sleeve once AF arrives??

Converting to IUI?? Or just roll the dice & hope for 2 Golden Eggs in there for the taking?? What options are feesable/do-able for you Luv??xo

@cesaerdust & @Charlie74 for what its worth I used pregnyl and then ovidrel to improve egg quality.
@Tahli looks like @Corbes is up first and then you? Will you POAS corbes? Bring it home gals! Tahli, completely understand transferring one. You don't want to be outnumbered from the get go
@MamaKes so sorry this is your worst result yet getting through a bad news day as normal is the hardest part for me.
