    @Blossom74 Oh...how distressing to hear that Luv!!😦

    Do you have some kind of RSPCA/animal rescue people that will come & get them if you call??

    I hope your neighbour is safe too Luv...although I have to admit if it turns out she's just been negligent & left them there she'd be copping a few home truths from me upon her return!!😐

    Well, the dog does because I slid a bowl of water under the back fence. It's the cat I'm worried about. Actually, she told me it was a kitten so still quite young. I hope she left something out for it because there was nothing that I could see for the dog.

    Still no sign of the Police yet either....

    I did stress to the Police that I was concerned for the animals as well as for her. I am hoping they do something soon. If they don't show up by tomorrow I'll be calling them back and asking what they are doing to ensure the animal's welfare.

    I am somewhat surprised that no-one has bothered to show up and check the house to see if my neighbour is indeed in there too. What if she had fallen and hit her head? I know it's unlikely, but when I moved to town (I kid you not) I did actually hit my head on a fridge alcove and split my scalp open. I had to go to hospital to get it stitched up! I know my neighbour is only young but accidents can still happen...

    I don't know. Just another thing to worry about apparently.

    Blossom

    At least someone is worrying about her @Blossom74. Anything could have happened to her. It certainly doesn't sound good.

    @Blossom74 that's heartbreaking about the animals. I'd be tempted (and I actually would) just break in to get the kitten out. 😕

    Also are you in Sydney? I know a couple of rescue groups who may have suggestions.

    Actually. Does she rent? Do you know the rental agents. They can contact/gain access. Sorry @Blossom74 I struggle w animal neglect. It's why I've ended up with 11 animals ... You must be feeling so upset over this.
