Luv...I was off my dot on Valium & pethidine which was my own "Wazza Cocktail"😁 10 mg's of Valium 1 hr prior to transfer being standard for all Wazza's Ladies & the pethidine for pain relief as transfer is excruciating for me when the catheter goes through my cervix due to scar tissue from previous Gynae surgery.

Anyhoo...all I was good for was a big, fat snooze when I got home!!!😁 Wazza also follows up his standard Valium for transfer by giving you 10 mg's to take home & have that night as well!!!😀👍

Sorry you had such a rotten time with the transfer @BIB. Actually, that's an interesting topic....

When I first went to see my FS he did a 'trial run' of putting the catheter through my cervix, to make sure it was possible. He said some ladies find it very painful and it can be difficult to do on some, so he wanted to make sure it was possible with me.

Anywho, there I was at my most glamorous (read: Legs up in the air, wave 'em like you just don't care) and he said "Now this will feel really weird...." I waited, expecting to feel the weirdness and he said "Is that feeling strange?" and I'm like "Oh yes....I see....."

No freakin' idea what he was on about. I felt nothing. Nada! I'm curious as to what the weirdness is all about! I know this is completely off track to what you were describing @BIB, but interesting topic none-the-less.

Good luck to all the lovelies having transfers, BT's, and other appointments tomorrow. Hope everything goes beautifully for you all.

    Blossom

@infinity888 FWIW....The only thing you really shouldn't do after transfer & in the 2WTorture is raise your core body temp above normal as you don't want to risk cooking your emby!!!😐

Other than that...if you want to rest up for an hr after transfer with a cuppa & a few bikkies in the waiting room (which I used to do as well before heading home) then do it😊

If you want to rest for the day watching movies etc...no probs. If you want to go shopping or straight back to work etc....no worries Luv😊

If you want to have a glass of wine with lunch or dinner then go for it I say!!😊 Do whatever works for you Luv😊👍
