Welcome @tegs26, hope you enjoy your time here

    Good morning everyone else

Interesting discussion regarding the Clexane and Aspirin. I was prescribed Clexane for the first 13 weeks of pregnancy and my OB told me once I stop the Clexane to start on aspirin immediately. They sort of do the same thing (thin the blood) so I don't suspect there would be any issues doing them simultaneously?

JM (and everyone else coming up for transfers) enjoy the baby shopping. DH and I used to look in the Baby Bunting stores and they are online too - their stuff is lovely. Actually, yesterday we walked past a shop which sells pre-loved baby furniture and goods. I said to DH "Keep that in mind for some time down the track." I can't go and look at that stuff right now but one day, hopefully, I will be able to do so.

JM, I am so pleased you are getting good vibes for this pregnancy. I think we ALL know these are your take home babies Yep, I understand 100% the urge to 'feel' the MS - I wanted the same myself and I imagine it would be something which though unpleasant, would also reassure you all is progressing nicely. I hope you feel just sick enough to be confident in what's happening, but not so sick that you can't function!

AFM....Doctors appointment tomorrow at 10.30am to get the dreaded test results. It has really hung over my head this weekend. DH keeps asking what will happen at the next FS appointment and yesterday I said to him "Let's just get the test results first. We need to make sure everything is ok before we move forward." It's like being stuck in a bit of a nightmare sometimes but hopefully we will get there in the end.

A quiet 'at-home' day for me today. Lots of housework to get sorted. No rest for the wicked....

    Blossom

Also ladies i believe aspirin makes your blood slippery like adding dish washing liquid to water. I dont think aspirin actually thins but clexane prevents clotting so actually thins it. So they do two different things but work well together perhaps ? This is just knowledge from medical degree not ivf or immune stuff. 😊

Tahli i take clexane from start of fet cycle and continually take baby asprin and high folate. I started prednisolone from d1 of fet cycle on fs instructions. When i get bt i let them know as i sometimes bleed more so they are prepared.

You could start now Luv if you wanted to or do one in the morning with FMU and keep doing them daily until BT.

Or else if you only took 250IU of what?? Ovidrel or Pregnyl it should be out of your system within 5 days I'd imagine??

Hmmm....would have to check the half life of it to see. On my ph atm Luv😊

@infinity888 Right!! The half-life for Ovidrel is 29-36hrs depending on how quickly or slowly your body metabolises the HCG.

If I base the calculations on 30 hrs then every 30 hrs the amount is halved...250mcg to 125mcg to 62.5 mg's & so on. It would take 9 half lives to get rid of every trace of HCG from the Trigger.

9×30hrs =270hrs ÷24 hrs (in a day) =11.25 days. So...11 & a quater of a day later there should be 0 HCG in your system (based on 30 hrs).

Meaning you can reliably start testing from 1st November when you will be 9dpo or 6dp3dt. To be on the very safe side you could start testing the following day at 10dpo/7dp3dt...IF my calculations are correct!!😊

@tegs26. I have grade 4 endometriosis. I had a laprascopic removal in 2013 then started IVF 6 months later. By that stage the endo was well and truly growing back and we had 3 cycles without success. I changed to a new FS after that who recommended zolodex for 3 months. We did that but it really didn't help much. The pain didn't improve much so I don't think the endo died off like it was supposed to. I did get a chemical pregnancy though and that was our first sign of implantation ever. I had a hysteroscopy and laparoscopy after another failed cycle then had three months on the pill before our last cycle and we finally got our BFP. I think having the laparoscopy then having a few months without AF to let things settle down is what did the trick. I am 43 so at 42 I would definitely try own eggs.
@JulieMalooley. We went baby shopping last weekend. We didn't buy anything but enjoyed ourselves thoroughly just looking. I have had ms all week off and on so hoping this is a great sign. Fx for making 12 weeks.
