Actually I had never before seen them looking like our squashed up ones either before that, but dr W Was so excited about it and went on about how it was expanding well and even was starting to get a cavity already (wtf? Where??). I admit I doubted him at the time too lol.

That's why it's not a good idea to compare because you don't know at what stage anyone's embryo's are really at in terms of the thawing process and the time they transfer them to you.

Agree with everything @JulieMalooley said in explaining it to you Luv

Actually thinking about it, I've assumed they both stuck, but you never know.... I could have had one stick and have identical twins ! Not that likely, but you never know...

    Good evening everyone.

@Infinity - Congrats on the fertilised Golden Egg! things continue to develop well, and by Monday you have the perfect little emby ready to bunker down and make itself a nice home in that fluffy lining of yours.

@sunny79 - Sorry to hear of the BFN love. And I very much understand the high anxiety that IVF can trigger. I don't think there's a single person on here who isn't affected, not just emotionally but financially, physically, and within their relationships. Hugs to you hun

@Charlie74 - My clinic didn't volunteer any information about my egg quality, or embryo quality either for that matter. I make a point of asking them about both now. The only issue is that whatever quality your emby is doesn't necessarily dictate the outcome. I mean, I had a Grade A Hatching emby, and look where I am now. I think a lot of this is in the lap of the Gods. The universe has a plan and I am trying to trust in that.

@Corbes - I would have thought the order of which embryo is transferred first, and which ones follow etc might at least be a joint decision between you, your partner and your FS. Of course you and DH should have an opinion on the matter - it's YOUR emby! And your FS probably has lots of research and lots of experience to which he can refer in helping you make that choice. I would try and keep the lines of communication open and if he decides to make a decision one way or the other I would certainly be asking "On what do you base that choice?"

AFM...Our day out was ok. We had a nice lunch, but then I tried to shop for a dress to wear to work next week which ended, naturally, in tears. I have put on about 4kgs but I am also super bloated at the moment - both tummy and boobs - and none of my clothes fit. I tried to console myself with a piece of cake (yeah, I KNOW!) but by the end of the day I was tired and cranky and sad, and was very glad to get home.

To see the dog over the road......watching me and whining.....

Yep, he's back! I fed him some pellets which apparently he doesn't recognise as food, but it's all I have here this evening so he'll have to learn to like 'em! Kitten is still there and ate a packet of wet food, so that's good. Roll on Tuesday....

Also, being that I'm here and all....I'm so sick of being poor. And fat. And worried about dogs and cats that are not mine. And not being pregnant anymore. And not being allowed to eat more cake because it's a self perpetuating cycle of fat and misery.

    That's all.

    Thanks for listening.

    Blossom

@Blossom74 Am glad your lunch was nice Luv

Am sorry the dress shopping wasn't so great Give your body some time to get back to normal Luv ok?? Nothing wrong with a piece of "comfort cake" to help ease the pain!!!

OMFG!!! Can't believe the dog is back!!! Well...that was a short lived sleep over for the poor thing!! He'll eat the pellets if he's hungry enough I reckon Good to see the kitten is A-OK too

Sounds like you're over it for one day/week/month/year??? Time to maybe have a nice bath or something equally relaxing and a big sleep perhaps??

That's what I do when I've had a gutful of everything...knock myself out so I don't have to think about it anymore!!!xo

That's a good idea @BIB. I might have a nice bath, and then take one of my special sleeping pills I've saved for a special occasion. I'll be ok, just having a cranky pants day. Tomorrow will be better

Take care @Blossom74 this is such a sucky time for you. I can recall feeling bloated horrible and fat after my first mc it was like i had bloating from the progest but nothing to show for it. Hope you feel better soon.

Poor hubbie went out for dinner tonight he had steak with no sauce as may contain gluten it wasnt made onsite no chips as they were beer battered. No starters as what he wanted was prob contain gluten. Its amazing how many things it is in. Next time might just stick to mexican which is pretty safe as tortillas and tacos usually from corn.
