@calypso75, they didn't tell me what they were testing for, just that they were going to do tests of some kind. My surgery was only a week ago today so I can't imagine it would be chromosome testing. My fear though is perhaps a molar/partial pregnancy or even endometrial issues such as cancer, which fingers crossed, I hope not.

Either way I suppose we will know on Monday. I appreciate your consideration too. Yes, this was my baby we are speaking of, but whilst still sad, I also want answers. Sometimes we have to use certain terms to get to the answers. I had a friend who was told that she had 'wastage' after a MC which I thought was particularly insensitive though.

Re: The Pet Issue. I can't call Animal Welfare. My neighbour, whilst currently nice enough to me, does have a criminal history and I certainly don't want to be on her bad side. There are a few other people in the street but they have nothing to do with her and I suspect wouldn't even know she has pets. I just can't risk her finding out I dobbed her in.

I have bought food and will feed/water the animals until Tuesday. After that (when I see her) I will mention "Well, they must have eaten all their food because I couldn't see any here a day after you left..." and leave it at that. The whole thing makes me sad really. I feel like I shouldn't have to worry about it, but every time I go outside I see her dog standing at the gate, and he whimpers at me for company. I can't ignore him. The whole thing just brings me down....

Blossom you're good to look after them. she probably knows you'll do this and is hoping you'll adopt them, as it sounds like she doesn't care about them at all. how can people be like this?

@Blossom74 oh my frucking godfather - I would be cracking it too !! She should NOT have animals. Perhaps when she gets back you could mention that as soon as she left you saw her dog out and when putting it back in the yard found the cat outside too which you thought it shouldn't have been according to what she told you so you were REALLY WORRIED about what to do. (You can insert a FFS at the end of that sentence if you like) And you figured she must have forgotten about putting the food out so you had to feed them. For 3 frucking days you irresponsible pet owner. Personally, I would probably take the cat. Hell, it was locked out anyway so probably got lost - she'll never know it wasnt HER fault - and BTW it WAS ! And rehome it, find a no kill shelter, anything is better than HER as an owner. No cat should be that hungry or thirsty. Poor things.
You shouldn't have to be dealing with this sh1t.

This just makes me mad. Animals are so reliant on their owners. And then she will be one of those ones that pops out a few unwanted kids too, to go with the unwanted and uncared for pets. There are some losers out there.
