Does anyone know what the possibilities might be? I feel like I need to prepare, but I don't know what to prepare myself for....

And if it was urgent they would have rung. That sounds to me like they are not particularly concerned.

Yeah, I would have thought they'd ring if it was urgent? When I was diagnosed with graves disease my doc rang me herself to get retested and then told me over the phone when my results came in.

@Blossom74 i agree they would habe called hun if it was really urgent. Fx its a minor issue. Still the stress isnt nice.

Talk soon. Happy happy days. About to find out my fate and too druged up to care. Haha i wonder if they will let me come back weekly just for this bit.

Fingers crossed it's just an explanation or something then, and not a "We've just discovered you are full of cancer" or something equally as nasty....

    I'll keep you posted anyway.

@Infinity, enjoy the happy juice! Will be stalking for updates....

@Bongley so sorry to hear about your BFN. It might be worth asking your FS to do a hysteroscopy and d&c. For what its worth, After a d&c or hysteroscopy, I seem to get pregnant the next cycle. I am guessing IVF is a real mind **** and to have an embryo that has correct chromosomes not implant, would really do your head in.
@Chiefsgirl glad to hear you heard a nice strong heartbeat, pity you couldn't have seen your hub as well. Thanks for the offer about helping with immune questions. I will definitely take you up on that offer I think.
@Charlie74 thanks for letting me know Dr M is lovely. I find it easier to talk to someone if they don't come across as immensely superior to me. Did you try and get a medicare rebate? Gwen told me if I had a referral from my GP, I could get a medicare rebate. Maybe there isn't one for phone consults. I will submit the claim anyway. When I called to make an appointment, I had a 5 week wait. I wonder if you got in a bit quicker as you are an existing patient? I was wondering if I should make a follow up appointment for a month after I talk to him, or just wait till they have the blood test results. Also, do you (or anyone else) know if I can write my name in the copies to section and get a copy of my blood test results?
@infinity888 I really hope that you have been able to go to egg collection.
@greenlady sounds like you are on track for a good number of eggs.
@Blossom74 I wouldn't stress about the recall. Whenever I have had that in the post it just means results are in. What I have found with my d&c's is that they do 2 tests. The first takes a week and that is a biopsy of the endometrium so they are the results that are in. The testing on the foetus takes about 2-3 weeks so it just depends on how many weeks have passed as to what they will be telling you. I can imagine it would cause you stress though and now have to get through the weekend wondering.

Good point @calypso75, my fetal results took a good two weeks to come back too, both times.

It's only been a week today, so I wonder then what the possibilities are?
