    @calypso75 Welcome Luv

I, too, am sorry to hear about your losses Is it Dr L you're seeing or Dr M??? Either way, that a cause can be found and dealt with. I guess it will depend on what the issue/s are as to whether you go down the IVF road or not?? I'm sure whichever Specialist you're seeing will advise you on the best way forward

Don't apologise for anything Luv ok?? We're all here to help and offer support if you want it. Also, feel free to ask any kind of questions you like...there's no such thing as "TMI" in IVF or this thread for that matter!!!

Thank you for your welcomes. I received email notifications. Is that what happens when you put the @ symbol in front of someone's name?

Hello blondeinbrisvegas. I am seeing Dr M in Sydney. I will be having a phone consult with him as I live in sunny Melbourne. I don't have an IVF doctor yet. I will see what Dr M says and take it from there. From my frantic googling over the last month, it seems that Dr L in Melbourne has a similar approach but most specialists disagree/don't approve of Dr M's theory.

I am reading back on the threads to try and catch up with you all. Blossom74 I am very sorry to hear about your miscarriage. Good idea to take some time off work and let your soul heal.

Winsor sorry to hear that your embryo tried its hardest to get there for you but just couldn't go on. I think you said you can't do another cycle but have some frozen embryos so glad to hear you have another chance.

Hi ladies I need to catch up I've been quite busy th last week and no phone means no checking bh on my phone at work! I got a new phone today finally. Hope everyone is going well. Blossom74 I hope things are going ok with you at the moment. I'm trucking along. Does anyone know if crinone is cheaper at certain places or standard as clinics don't distribute the drugs I believe now. My poor Hubbie is surviving just!!! I can't recall if I mentioned his dr confirmed the other day that he has to avoid gluten he has been diagnosed as having coeliac so having to really be careful about what we eat for dinner we eat lots of unprocessed food but it's more things like chicken kievs and other sauces that has gluten in it. J xxx

@calypso75, I wouldn't rule out immune issues till you've been assessed by the doctor. I'm guessing it's Dr M in Syd? Many girls in here who thought they had no issues have ended up getting fab results with an immune protocol.. You just never know luv.. I've spoken to him as well, have my 2nd phone appt (I'm in melbs too) next week.. He's lovely by the way

AFM, feeling rather chuffed that thanks to someone's advice (??? Tahi? Or Blossum perhaps??) I finally tried to claim my anaethetist Bill from Julys EPU.. Paid $220, and today got back $120!! Nice one!! DP also got back $170 from $200 for his appt with the vascular doctor.. Finally all these years of paying taxes & Medicare is paying off! Loving the safety net right now.. Hopefully it's not going to be crapola next year...

Oh YAY! That was me! Finally I can feel like I have been of some help to someone, lol! Good on you - every cent helps love.

Thank you Calypso for your kind words. It has been a difficult time (as I'm sure you would understand) but everyone here has been so wonderfully supportive, and I feel like I am finally starting to get my head above water - just!

Had a follow up BT on Tuesday ladies, to check my HCG. It's down to 2,000 already. The Doctor said this was good, and I should return to 'normal' soon. I told him about the LBL and they said "Probably just a disruption due to the trauma of the D&C." That seems to have resolved itself now, thank goodness.

I also asked about the breast tenderness I've been having - yeah, none DURING pregnancy but plenty afterwards, and again "This is hormone related." As are the cramps I've been getting in the evening, which are my insides returning to normal apparently.

I hate 'normal.' I really wanted to be very ab-normal and pregnant. Oh well. I hope, one day....

    Hi Midnite,

No idea about the Crinone, sorry. The only time I used it it was given to me by my clinic.

Bugger about DH's gluten intolerance. That must make meal preparation a bit of a nightmare. I imagine you are forever reading labels

@Charlie74 well done on the rebate hun! How much was your initial phone consult with Dr M? Did you just fax/email through your other test results and he sent you the referrals for extra ones? How long did it take to get the initial phone consult? I really should be on his immune protocol for my upcoming FET but I've been feeling so flat about it that I didn't organise the consult.
@JulieMalooley I wasn't going to do a Monash intralipid session pre FET but after your success I've decided to part with the cash & do it. They're calling me back in a few hrs with the prices.
For any other Melb girls, they've moved from doing them at Epworth Hawthorn to Epworth Richmond.

Good on you Tahli. There seems to be an ever increasing band of women who are getting great benefits from that treatment. I reckon if you're going to spend a motza on IVF you may as well give it every best chance you can

Ta @Blossom74. My cat became sick this week & had an overnight stay at the vets. When I got the $550 bill I thought 'oh well, there goes my intralipid session'. But after Julie got her BFFP I thought I'd best push my finances & do the session after all. I just wish I was doing it in CT where it's half the cost!
@JulieMalooley What was your intralipid protocol for this cycle? Monash are saying one session now, 7 days pre-transfer.
