@Corbes Oh Bugger Luv!!! Hopefully you will get an earlier appointment in the next week or so

Good Luck with your upcoming appointment on the 29th!! Doesn't hurt to have a fresh pair of eyes looking at things. Be interesting to see what he/she says and recommends

I've flown solo many a time Luv for appointments and such. Why can your DH only get one referral at a time?? Anyhoo...you just gotta do what you gotta do sometimes

    Default IVF over 40 #19

The leg is still a bit swollen but I've kept it pretty horizontal all day so not aggravating it. Still looks like a big bruise, feels bruised and is hard. Weird.

Actually now that I've touched it and prodded a bit, it's getting a little tender. I've just had an antihistamine to hopefully settle it down.

@JulieMalooley How's the leg going now Luv???
@JulieMalooley @BlondeinBrisvegas - honestly smelt nothing - not even a remote smell when I drew it up and injected. Now I'm worried I didn't mix it properly or maybe I have a faulty batch?

Nah don't worry @Green lady, the breeze probably just wasn't going the right way or you didn't breathe in at the right time when mixing . There's just a powder and a liquid, you can't get it wrong 😀

Hi ladies, I am only 36 and I hope you don't mind me asking advice here!
My fresh transfer was cancelled due to ohss and the image of a hatching grade a blastocyst was shown to us on the day.
Now I have had transfer I am uneasy that the image I was shown for the fet I just did was vastly different. I asked them and they said the embryos look different after thawing.
    Do they look different??

@sunny79 welcome! yes they do look different. I did my first FET last month and my doc told me that the frozen embryos are more compacted, I think the water is sucked out of them in some way? And that they take a while to expand after thaw. Hope that helps!
