@Petal i believe my old clinic and your clinic are the same clinic. The fentynl local combo done there was quite good except when i had no eggs and they had to go digging but that was only 1 from 4. @BlondeinBrisvegas fentynl is awesome. I wont be getting any of that this time either. baileys it is haha

    Default IVF over 40 #19

@Bongley eeeeeee not long now !! I don't know if I'm more excited for you, or for me, although I think I will have an answer before you - unless you pull a rabbit out of your hat and match my super early 10dpo BFP ? The race is on and Time will tell... 😃

I bet she got mauled by her poor kitty when she walked in the door. I'm glad everyone is ok.

@winsor I did one IUI at the age of almost 42 - I'm with Monash in qld. I think generally it's not recommended for over 40s but it probably depends on your circumstances and your individual FS. He thought it was worth me having a go with IUI as I have a good AMH and no other apparent fertility issues apart from age having conceived naturally before.

To be honest it has such a low percentage of success in hindsight I wished I hadn't wasted the month doing it. It didn't work and after it for some reason my cycle went badly off course with abnormal bleeding which delayed me a further 3 months in starting IVF.

So I'd say if you have the time it might be worth a try but if the sand is running out of the hourglass like me, maybe don't waste your time.

good luck @Bongley for tomorrow's testing & @JulieMalooley for your scan.

exhausted tonight, will check in tomorrow for the good news. night all
