Grab his top jaw and lift it up - it will help his mouth fall open and make it easier. Make sure you get your fingers over the hump in the tongue. He looks like a decent size dog which makes it easier. Hopefully he behaves for you.

He doesn't want to eat and take his medications this morning so that's fantastic.... Not!!! We have another dog so they are selerated but I tried having them next to eachtoehr and they just wanted to play.

He's in pain relief sedation antibiotics and anti inflammatory my phone is being annoying sorry for spelling. I was really appalled by our vet experience but that's a whole other thread!
What state are you in? I've got a pretty large crate we used for our Great Dane when she was smaller that you are welcome to borrow if you like? I'm in southern Adelaide.

Ohhhhhh the poor puppy!! It's so awful seeing our fur babies in pain. Wishing him a speedy recovery and sending big big hugs and rubs xxx

Ps. I do know that whenever my dog has had a sedation, he always gets whimpery for a day or so afterwards. Must really knock him about!
