    Default Ccr on preschool

My daughters daycare offers preschool in conjunction with long daycare, it's $90 a day and we can get ccb ( if eligible) and ccr on that; so it brings cost down.
The local C&K is $35 a day, but is just a preschool so 9-3.
I'll hopefully be on maternity leave so not in need of daycare but it is nice not be confined to strict hours.
Do we get ccr/b on the $35 ?

If you qualify for the rebate, it would be very minimal.

My DS only attends preschool one day a week (he's going for 3 days next year) and when I checked the rebate on offer was something like $7 per day.

I haven't bothered applying for it, but I'll be checking if I can get it next year. My DH works casually and erratically, so we can't ever say he works 'X' amount of hours every week. I believe both parents have to be working consistently in order to claim it.

Not sure about Ccb/ccr but just remember that c&k also don't run during school holidays.

If the carer has a provider number you can. Our local kindy qualifies for ccb/ccr.

You get some ccb IF you have a health care card. Otherwise zip. My dd1 is in a c&k kindy this year.
