Default Wwyd: Nappies not paid for

    What would you do?
What do you think I did?

You've had a rough day and are stuck doing the grocery shopping (it's your turn). It's late at night you just want to get home. The gentleman on the checkout is friendly and you get chatting. Your overflowing trolley comes to $350. When you get close to your car you see bubs nappies in the underpart of the trolley. You had accidentally snuck out of the supermarket without paying for the nappies.

Do you go back and pay for the nappies? (Approx $12).

If I had told them they were there and they hadn't added them, then that's their fault so I wouldn't have gone back. But in your case where you forgot to tell them, I'd go back.

I would most definitely go back, couldn't go home or even load them into the boot without paying.

I think you went back and paid for them.

Yes I would always go back if unless I had only realised after I drove home. If I only realised at home,I would probably return to the shop in the next few days to pay, or at the very least, the next time I was there.

Na, probably not. In saying that though, I would most likely keep the receipt and offer to pay next time (I shop at the same Coles every week).

If I was still in the car park I probably would have gone back, depending on my mood and how much of a 'rough day' I had had.

If I was already at home, nup, I wouldn't go back.

look in all honesty, I'd prob just leave it. I know it's the "wrong" thing to do but supermarket giants make millions of dollars of profits, nobody will miss $12 of revenue from some nappies.

sometimes I think the universe does things like this when we're having a rough day to put a smile on your face. just enjoy the little bonus from the universe

I would pay for them. To do otherwise is stealing.

to me, stealing is done with malicious/dishonest intent. there was no such intent given she was chatting and completely oblivious to the fact that the nappies didn't get put through.
