Thanks for the welcome @TortoiseNotTheHare. I'm doing a natural FET, just timing ovulation with bloods then pessaries. That's what we did for DS so fingerscrossed it works again!

DS has DPs surname as we thought it was nice given she was the non-bio mum. I thought I might change my name to hers too eventually if I can face the paperwork!

We decided DS's name in recovery after my C-Section! Had been tossing up names and our previous favourite one we actually changed to his middle name once we saw him. So glad we didn't tell anyone before he arrived!

We've got a few names of each we're tossing up between. We are thinking that we'll wait to meet the LO before we make the final decision. We did decide not to find out the sex so it'd be hard to pick a name before for us.

@A&S that's a sweet name and it's becoming quite common and climbing the charts so that can sometimes help people get their head around it. Once upon a time people would have said Ava was old fashioned and it's extremely common. We have decided we will find out the sex but won't be sharing it with anyone. Funny that they have gone all pink and frilly on you! Some people are funny!
@TandR the suspense will kill me now!! I waaaaannnaaaa know lol
@rainbow road Toby looks like a Toby 😊
@Chekry what's on the maybe list?
@Flower78 it's funny how the fav name can suddenly become the runner up so to speak. I think it's great to meet bub first and see what they look like.

Yes I'm hoping it won't be too common, just enough for it not to be weird. I love all the old fashioned names and not really a fan of unique names so Hazel is perfect

    Love the name A&S!

We haven't told many people (only 4 close family members) the sex so we are thankful for no pink frills yet either!

We opted not to have a baby shower, mainly because we don't want heaps of unnecessary gifts. We might have a little party postpartum. I like the idea of having a drink and celebrating once the little one is here.

Love hearing about how everyone's surnames came together!

Loving the names guys!!! It's always interesting to see what style of name people go with.
@A&S yeah I don't think it will become a super common name but just more heard of. I like that it's not really common but still a normal name! 😊
@TandR you're not going to put us out of our misery are you? Like I said, can't whinge because we don't know if we will narrow our names down til after the birth anyway so can't be a hypocrite about the sharing thing 😂

Default Same Sex Parents TTC List #3

    Lovely names @Chekry!

If we have a girl the middle name will be Iris. First name Lucia or Sophie (DPs family are Swedish so Lucia would be pronounced the scandi way, Loo-see-uh not Loo-chee-uh). I love Olive but DP says I can only have an Olive if she can call the next boy Johnny Four Fingers. And she will hold me to it 😂😂

Boy will be Jamie, middle name Felix. I love Henry and Elliot but DP said no

So surreal as we've had the first birth in our Due In Group. Little girl born at 27-28 weeks.
