@Boxergirl, I would transfer two for sure.vim definitely doing a double this time too. Good luck with EPU XX
@TortoiseNotTheHare, how are you going? When should transfer be?

I'm CD9 now, so about 2 weeks away from my bloods that'll tell me when to start Lucrin. Sperm has been bought and paid for so won't be long before it's hanging out in the freezer. We also see the new specialist for DP on Tuesday. It's an easy time of year to keep busy which is good! I've been enjoying time with DS. I know it'll all be worth it eventually.
Well AF was due today and guess what.. She's showed up today! So glad she's still on time despite my one day period/body rejecting poppy from last month. So that puts my transfer some time in the days before Christmas. It might as late as Christmas Eve! Hopefully my body cooperates and we don't have to end up cancelling the cycle because we have plans that we won't be able to get out of after Christmas! Time will tell!

That's awesome news that you have been focussing on DS and the exciting time of year that it is! It definitely does make it go super fast!!

Yay, great that she's showed up @TortoiseNotTheHare!

Good luck for your appt at the new clinic @rainbowroad. Hopefully you get the reassurance of fresh eyes and approach at the new clinic.

Welcome to all the new couples TTC. Great to hear of other couples and their journey. And a few Sydney siders yay.

Would anyone in Sydney actually be interested to meet up? DP and I don't have any other same sex couple friends and would love to catch up with like minded people and have a little support network. (Bubhub has been a godsend too though!)

That might not be a bad idea @TandR. For all the Sydney ppl - what area in Sydney are you located in?

We're in the east but happy to travel for a more central location for anyone interested in organising something.

It's good to see alot of other couples are egg sharing. For myself and my partner getting started with the process is so difficult as we live in Singapore but need to fly to bkk to get IVF done there. The clock is ticking for us as my DP just turned 39 so we really need to get her eggs frozen soon as I am worried at her age she won't produce enough eggs to fertilise and store. it doesn't help that we recently had a company change at work (we work together) so this made our jobs not so stable so we didn't know if we would be keeping our jobs or having to pack up and fly back to Perth as I am just on a working pass in Singapore. now that our jobs are secure, we have to get our blood tests under way along with our donor who lives in Perth. so we can get the process rolling. I really want to get this going I have been researching and trying to find clinics for more then a year now. and it is quite frustrating with all the regections we get from different countries and for Australia being so far away I don't know if it is the best option to go to a clinic there. It would also mean so much more expensive. sigh! so hopefully we can get the bloods done soon. haha sorry rant over.

Yeah it would be quite tricky to coordinate! Are you using a known donor from Perth? Might be a silly question but will he fly over there to donate sperm at the clinic you chose? Are you younger than DP and if so have you considered using your eggs instead? Hopefully your DP's eggs will be fine 😊 You may feel a lot better once the ball is rolling because you'll know you are closer to your baby being here!

I am in South Eastern Sydney near Kogarah. We would also be keen to meet up for sure. I've noticed most couples on here are TTC through a clinic and IUI, though we are AI, we don't know any other same sex couples who are
    TTC so would be awesome!
