I decided to take a test this morning to see how much the pregnyl shows when it's fresh in my system and then I did another this afternoon. Now I did it just for fun and won't read into it but the line is darker this afternoon. I'm now thinking like rainbow that it could be because it was a different batch of tests. It is very interesting and makes me wonder but like I said, I'm not going to stress over it or torture myself with the what ifs. It will be interesting to see if tomorrow's is any darker.

    Hi everyone!
I am 14+3 and still suffering terribly with the MS...thankfully it's just nausea and I can depend on my good mate Zofran to help me through the days. Haha. Can be hard work keeping up with an almost 17 month old speed machine, but i can imagine that will only get worse the bigger i get! Haha. Oh dear!!
@TNTH- I totally felt like that just before our BFP and actually for a while after too. It's quite unsettling really but the heaviness can be a good sign...lots of extra blood flow required to help the little emby nuzzle in!! 😉

Good luck I hope this is for you.
What I heard from other ladies on Bub hub is it takes around 20/24 hrs after a pregnyl shot for it to be full gorse in you pee.
When do you have blood test? Pregnyl is so harsh but if it does the job y not 😃

Hmm that's interesting! It might just be that then! I thought pregnyl would be more immediate because they use it as a trigger but maybe not?! Who knows! Whatever will be will be haha.

Haha that's a good way of looking at it! Cause who really knows pregnyl makes me very confused I wish I was strong enough not to test at all! I will try that when I start IVF I might let for 3 days heheh

Default Same Sex Parents TTC List #3

@almai that's so exciting!! I can't wait to hear what this little bub will be! How exciting!!!!!! I saw the pic of her bump! It's awesome! Is DS excited?

I'm not too sure what to think. I've been testing in the morning and afternoon knowing the line will be there because of the pregnyl but it is getting a little darker each time. I'm not jumping for joy yet though because I'm not sure how reliable it is and whilst I still have pregnyl in my system I know it could be messing the tests around. I think I'll be shocked and will not prepared if I get a BFP. I know it sounds daft but but I kind of dismissed the possibility at the beginning because DP and I made peace with the idea of swapping over.

Anyway I'm looking forward to an answer one way or another! 😊

@almai, what gives you the feeling it's a little girl? Just a gut feeling or certain symptoms of DP's pregnancy?

DP and I think we have a girl, no one is yet to say boy, although DP would love one. I thought we'd keep it a surprise but honestly, I'm itching to find out.

@Its Me welcome to the thread! Congrats on your pregnancy and really hope the morning sickness goes for good soon. That would also make you due in April? A few of us in this thread are due in April.

Thanks TandR! Congrats to you too. Is this your first??
Yep...due right at the end...28th April!

I really hope the MS goes away soon...I'm just getting over a sinus infection and it feels like the nausea has gotten worse this past week!! Arghh!! Did you have much MS? I was sick for the whole preg with DS so i am kind of expecting it to stick around. 😢
