Oh rainbow I'm really sorry you're going through all of this. Try not to lose hope, your body has done this before, it's a well oiled machine and you still could have that positive.

I think you've made a really strong choice to not test anymore, I always found testing made me way more stressed.

I'm still crossing my fingers for you x

My fingers are crossed for you both.
@RR with my IUI'S I thought testing out the pregnyl was going to be a good idea.. But instead I got very confused someday a it was lighter then darker I wish I had stopped!

As for us we have a appoint with our doc November 9th to discuss next steps. And have just booked in with the PLA, nurse and counselling for first week of December ready to hit the top of the waiting list.. This year has gone so fast but also been so long TTC our first appointment was Jan 2015

Default Same Sex Parents TTC List #3

@NandM that's exciting! Hopefully time goes super fast and you will have a little bub soon! How are you feeling about it all?

@rainbow road it would have been a hard decision to stop testing but yep definitely think that giving it a couple more days will help. I still think you'll get your BFP 😊
@Dougy thank you! I'm holding out a little hope but not too much because I like to sit on the cautious side of the fence haha. Knowing Nemo is waiting for his turn makes it easier to face the outcome so that's good!

I did end up throwing up at work which wasn't fun and I still keep getting waves of nausea hit me. I don't know what's wrong with me. I had about 2 minutes of cramping again too. I just want to know if it's the pregnyl lol. If it is then I'm not sure I'm going to enjoy tonight's last booster shot!

That could be a good sign I was never throwing up on pregnyl I hope it is a good thing..

I'm feeling ok about IVF a little worried about the egg collection and going under as I don't react well but it will all be worth it.
I think IVF we will feel a little more relaxed as we know the sperm has meet the egg where IUI we just never knew!

That's the great part about it. You know you are already part of the way there! Mind you its can of difficult knowing exactly what's going on too! Too little info is bad thing and also too much info is a bad thing hahaha 😂 can't win!

I'm trying not to read too much into throwing up because it could just be my body sick of the pregnyl. I have felt like I was going to throw up a few times from it (I know cos it was too early to be anything else) but I never actually did throw up. I'm going to do another before booster shot tonight I'll see if there is a line there and what it looks like compared to the last before booster test.

My line on the FRER before my booster tonight was no darker than the one the other day so I doubt anything else was making me throw up though. Maybe it was my lunch lol. Anyway can't test til next week now so we will just have to wait and see.

I'm excited for whatever is to come. Whether it be a BFP or a chance for Nemo to grow. Either way is a win for both DP and I 😊

It's so hard being in suspense. Hang in there rainbow & TNTH. I've felt really positive for the both of you this cycle, so I really hope for a good outcome.

Our little update: I am 17 weeks along. Bub has been moving around so much these past few weeks. I notice it particularly after eating and laying down on the couch.

We also lay-byed our stroller today. First time lay-buying anything, let alone a stroller for our child. It almost doesn't feel real!

We're still a little stuck for car seats. That's our next thing to tackle.

Still can't believe the journey we are on. I haven't quite grasped I'm going to be someone's mother!

Wow that feels like that has gone super fast @TandR!! What stroller did you decide on?

How are our other preggo ladies doing? Updates on your pregnancies please! I want to live vicariously through everyone that is preparing for bubs arrival! Haha.

Afm - I could have sworn I was getting to get AF last night. Maybe my body was preparing for it as the pregnyl levels had dropped so low and now this morning nothing probably because I had a booster last night. Anyway and this stage I think that there's no natural hcg being produced so therefore I'm going to say that I'm out but that's okay. Oddly enough I had a dream that I have birth last night and woke up (in my dream) to find out the gender! I went to sleep without knowing the baby's gender?! As if! Odd thing is I have dreamt friends pregnancies and then they have happened. I even had a friend show me a baby in one and then a couple of nights another baby and she ended up pregnant with twins so it's odd that I have now dreamt of myself having one!! Hmm... Maybe my dream for myself was just a little early lol.
