@Leisylou that sounds like a lovely clinic. I hope you have the support you need and a plan that works. Fx
@Leisylou they sound much more supportive than your previous experiences. I hope it makes all the difference for you. I hope you can rest as much as possible for the rest of the year to recover properly
@Leisylou Am so glad to hear everything went well and that the new FS/Clinic were more suited to you Luv
Good to see they're willing to give it a go if you decide you are once your health is 100% back to where you want it to be I guess that's when you'll see how you feel and where things are with your friend & the DE offer
The Japanese acupuncture sound really interesting...will have to do a bit of research and check out what it's about!! I hope it helps you Luv in whatever way you want it to
Hi ladies sorry I've been awol. My phone battery has died and has had to be sent away to be fixed so I'm phone less and it's strange!!!! I'm not due to get back until late next week so no more checking on bh during the day next week. I even had to buy a cheap 29 phone just so I have some way of daycare getting in touch if they need to.
i hope everyone is going well. Awesome news bongley on your transfer today.
krysta I have been thinking about you and I hope everything has gone as best as it an under the circumstances.
Love to you wonderful ladies
@Charlie74 Holiday sounds fab Luv!! Loving those kangaroos too!!! If that picture is anything to go by, it looks beautiful where you are!!! The playing caddy on the golf range...not so much!!!
Oh Luv...don't be worrying/feeling guilty just because of imbibing in a few drinks, drinking a bit of coffee everyday and having a few extra kg's on the body (don't we all??)!!! The main thing is you're taking your thyroxine to keep your levels in the optimal range for conception and pregnancy which all the supplements in the world won't do and fat lot of good they would do if your TSH was out of whack to begin with!!!
Meh!! To the exercise as well. Walking like you've been doing is just fine. You don't have to cane your body like a contestant on The Biggest Loser to reap the benefits FFS's!! Life is for the living Luv especially for those on this sh!t of a rollercoaster!!
Look..if it makes someone feel better to cut every single thing out of their diet and go on some Paleo/HFLC/Mediterranean/CSIRO diet while taking a chemist full of supplements and whipping themselves into a frenzy 7 days a week at the gym, then fine, go right ahead. I personally don't think you need to be that bloody drastic to achieve the same results!!
Just eating well the majority of the time, moving in some way doing something to exercise on a fairly regular basis, getting enough sleep when you can, making sure that things like you thyroid etc are all in order, not drinking alcohol to excess all the time and no smoking will reap as much benefit as doing the abovementioned scenario IMO.
Anyhoo...enjoy the rest of your holidays anxiety/guilt free!! I know it's hard not to worry and it's everyone's fear that they'll have no embryo to transfer, but I'm sure you'll do even better than that and have 2 to put back in your oven!!!
@Blossom74 Hope all went well yesterday Luv and you're resting comfortably. Thinking of youxo
@midnite01 What a pain in the bum Luv!! Righty-oh!!...we'll see you on the other side!!!
@Corbes How are you doing Luv?? Did you get in to see your FS yet??
@Green lady How close are you to beginning your Cycle Luv??
@infinity888 Here's some more to help plump up those follies for Mondays scan!!!

@Leisylou you are sounding much more positive so you must be onto the right clinic this time. I look forward to hearing which path your journey takes now that you've got several good options in the pipeline ! @Blossom74 I hope yesterday went seamlessly and you are feeling a little better today. I'm glad for your sake that it's done and you can move forward again x
@Leisylou I'm glad you have found a clinic that is listening to you and you feel comfortable.
@Charlie74 lots of ladies in my immune group have talked about diet/exercise and whether it makes a difference. They have all said they have tried it all over the years and it didn't do diddly squat except when they exercised and ate well they felt better.
@Anais I wish I could offer you some words of advice, but I had an a have of 14 and still ended up with dud eggs so went the donor route. I wiped out all of our savings and dipped into the mortgage to pay for the 9 ivf stems, 5 transfers and then the U.S. Donor eggs cycle. My de cycle was very expensive, but I would have def gone to Cape Town if DH had agreed. He chose the U.S.
I was told I had a slim chance that I could find the golden egg in amongst all of my duds, but I am 41 and have spent the last 2.5years doing back to back cycles and it had taken a lot out of me. DH and I decided to go down the de route because it gave us a better chance of taking home a baby, rather than gambling more money on my eggs. We have worked so hard to get where we are and I did feel super guilty about spending the money, but I am now 14 weeks and have no regrets at all.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, maybe you could look at Cape Town, and spend some time saving a little more and go there where you might have a better chance of it working?
@Blossom74 I hope you are recovering well.
Sorry I haven't posted much ladies, work has been crazy and ms has kicked in with a vengeance, so classy to be 'riding the porcelain bus' at work! At least I announced this week so they know I've not been out on the booze!
@Bongley congrats on being pupo, I had a few drinks after transfer, not much maybe 1-2 ciders at night with dinner, I had my last one on the plane home at 5dp5dt!
