Thats such a shame @winsor but yes at least you know you can get past the first hurdle of implantation. I hope your frosty is the one for you.. @infinity888 sounds like you're in with a good shot - great work.
Regarding my BT, between weeks 5-6 it should be 2-3 days doubling time so I'm expecting a HCG of over 4000 ... that will make it around 2.5 days.

Oh @winsor I'm so sorry to hear that this little embie didn't make it. Such a mindf*ck when we see that positive line but then see it not get darker or fade out... I've had three of those with natural pregnancies and even though you kind of expect that it's going to end badly, there is always that sliver of hope. I'm sorry you've had another disappointment.

I guess if I was you I would be pushing for one more cycle if at all possible - it is likely you will get another embie or two before the cut-off deadline. If they let you transfer frozen embies after 45 then that's great, you can keep going with the one you have and any new ones.

I have to make that decision soon too, I'm 45 in April and I'm seeing a new FS tomorrow to talk about options before the cut off date. Otherwise we'll go straight to DE next year if my potential donor is actually serious about it.

@winsor Oh Luv...that really frucking sux and I'm so sorry!!! I do know how you feel as I had a Chemical myself on Cycle 1 and it's a real kick in the guts!!!

The only positive thing is that you now know that implantation has occurred which is one of the big hurdles out of the way It doesn't feel like much of a consolation prize right now I know Luv

I hope your DH comes around and you can fit in 1 more fresh Cycle before you have to use your frostie. If it's going to mean the end of the road in TTC afterwards because DE's/adoption etc aren't an option, then I say do it if you can!!!

@BlondeinBrisvegas thanks yep, less stressed this time around but more pessimistic. Feeling quite fatalistic about these last two embryos. Better than being in pieces I guess.

@Bongley good luck for tomorrow ! Feeling pessimistic is not a bad thing, it makes any positive news twice as exciting when it happens! And one of those two is your exciting news

thanks @Leisylou yes, I've suspected (felt) like it's happened in 1, possibly 2 natural cycles before we started IVF but I didn't test it out so I've never known for sure, and was never sure if there was another problem with me (besides old eggs), so even though this is a bad result, it has made me feel better in one way from an overall perspective. I'm sorry my eggs are so old and this one didn't make it - he/she gave it a good try but there must have been a chromosome issue or something

good luck with your appt tomorrow. I hope you get some more answers/info to make your decisions

actually my frostie is with genea from my first cycle when I was 43 so it's probably our best hope as the youngest egg - I think they said I could transfer it over to rpa, I'll have to check. otherwise I could go back there for the FET as they're cheaper (it's bad we're chosing the financial place - I think both clinics are great)

thanks @BlondeinBrisvegas. yes I hope he comes around too. but if not, I think we gave it a good shot. his sperm has improved and they've done ivf not icsi for past couple of cycles, so who knows, we might even have luck naturally if there is still a good egg in there somewhere. (long shot!)

good luck tomorrow @Bongley, I hope this is the one for you. I agree with JM, lower expectations lead to more excitement. I hope to be celebrating with you in a couple of weeks
