@Tahli since you have 2 mancubs maybe its a sign haha 2 seems to be your number atm. Tbh its tough to have to make these big decisions on your own so do what you have to do to figure it out. Maybe the councilor will help.?

Good luck @JulieMalooley and @winsor for tomorrow BT. Good night all

Hi ladies, I'm about to head out the door for my day away (hair appointment, lunch/collection of parents etc.) Really looking forward to a break from the misery that is my house at the moment.

@winsor, love for a BFFP for you today. I will be thinking of you.

@Infinity, hoping for lots of lovely, fat follies for you today.

@JulieM, good luck with your BT love. I am SURE your HCG is going up!

@Tahli, I believe the word you were looking for was 'Mojo!' (Thank you, Austin Powers!) And @BIB is right - you haven't lost it, it's just waiting to be re-ignited YEAH, BABY!!!

As for 'what will MC think of an IVF-ravaged body?' My experience has always been that when a man sees you naked, he doesn't see the faults that we see. He just sees a naked chick and thinks to himself "Whacko! A naked lady on top of me! It's my lucky day!"

    They really ARE that simple

AFM - Some mild cramping last night but it seems to have gone for now.

Have a lovely day everyone. I'll pop back on later this evening to see all of the good news of the day.

    Thinking of you all

    Blossom

    Default IVF over 40 #18

@infinity888 good luck with your scan today ☺️
@JulieMalooley hope you get good numbers in your BT. I know how anxious you feel, try & stay away from Google. Easier said than done though. My data is through the roof atm lol
@Tahli you will be back in CT before you know it! And just do what's comfortable re mancub. It's very exciting, and who knows, lots of them really fancy women with a bit of experience & who aren't immature. Go for it I say. (My DH is 7 years younger than me 😳)
@winsor hoping for a BFP for you today. It's been a long week for you, hope you get happy news today ❤️

@Blossom74 enjoy your day lovely, you deserve it. Hairdresser & lunch out with the folks sound so nice.

    Wave to everyone else. 😊😊

@JulieMalooley I'm guessing you slept in a tent outside pathology as of about 5am this morning?! Have you had it done now?
    @winsor How's that 2nd line looking today?
@infinity888 How are those gorgeously plump follies going?
@Blossom74 You made me LOL (as the youff would say!). Enjoy your wonderful break today hun. God knows you deserve it.
@Corbes 'the fun is in the journey'. I like it. Maybe that's a lovely gentle way to approach it.
Hi to all the girls and ta heaps for your wonderful support re ManCubs.

well I've been for the BT, just waiting on results. I told the nurse I thought it was gone (a barely barely there squinter today only if I move the test around to see on an angle). she said it might have been my trigger (ovidrel) as well as the pregnyl as it can all last about 12days. she said ovidrel has hcg in it too. I told her I saw the lines go lighter at the end on last week, then get darker and peak on monday night then drop off again. and she just shrugged lightly and didn't say anything. so now I'm a crazy woman and don't even know if it was real for a few days at least. I've had ovidrel every cycle and have never seen any second line before when I've tested before af due date. I said it'd be just my luck it would all last that long and she said it's meant to, to support the embryo early on
so just waiting for the number now. I just hope i's above 0 so I'm not completely insane

Good luck for your BT @winsor, I hope YOURS was marked urgent ! I won't bother marking mine as the last 3 times it was and they obviously completely ignore it. I really hope you get a last minute miracle
I hope you have a pleasant day with your parents @winsor and try to keep your mind off it. Good luck for tomorrow.
AFM, no I didn't set up camp @Tahli I'm going to get it done this afternoon. If I got it done this morning I still can't get the results till tomorrow as my Dr is not open today, so I may as well leave it as long as possible. The sore boozies are back again anyway as is the 2 hourly middle of the night toilet stops so I'm feeling a bit more comfortable about it.

@ Bongley, infinity888, BIB , missybear, JulieMalooley, winsor......Thank you so much ladies for welcoming me to this group. Your support means a lot at this time. As I am new, I personally don't know at what stage each one of you is but from what I have read,

JulieMalooley.. I can imagine that you have received this long awaited bfp after a long time. Wishing u all the best for your bloods today.

winsor good luck! Hope u have a positive result

Blossom 74. Please try to have a relaxed time with your parents and hope everything goes well on Friday. I still can't believe the things that stupid doc said to you. I remember once, when I was having a miscarriage at 14 weeks , naturally I was very upset and I wanted a d & c ,the doc told me very rudely, that I was not the only person going through it, they had staff shortage and there are women who miscarry in week 20... Yours is still week 14. So, there are some idiots sitting there at all times. Please try not to add the extra stress to your situation because of 1 stupid person.

Infinity 888 good luck Hun for your scan today..

Good luck for your BTs today @winsor & @JulieMalooley!

@Bongley you'll have to let us all know whether you choose the gender or not for this transfer - OMG it's tomorrow!!!

@Tahli I did the same thing when I ended a relationship when I was 39. I spent about a year on my own and then fired up RSVP and had a little exploration of "cougarsville". I met one lovely ManCub who lived in a different state who was 30 and would come up to visit for the weekend every month or so and we'd go away for lovely times together. He was quite adventurous so we'd go parasailing and rock climbing and do all sorts of things. Much fun and neither of us took it too seriously - he was an absolute delight to be with and a real gentleman as well.

The other one may or may not have been *cough* about 20 but he was ridiculously hot, so he was in the playtime category only. It only took one (Ok maybe two!) encounters for me to realise that he should be playing with cubs his own age and I set him free. And then he chased me for months wanting to play again All I will say about that is that Energiser Bunnies don't do it for me!

If I hadn't met DH when I did, I'm sure that ManCub1 and I would have continued on enjoying each other for a lot longer. He was a lovely breath of fresh air and boosted my confidence no end. He helped me to get my Mojo back . Hopefully one of these lovely men can be that for you. Enjoy!
