@midnite, yep Bendigo is definitely do-able. It's only 130km away - close by country standards! Monash worries me with the cost side of things though. I mean, I know they are great, but the question is can I afford it? Any chance you could get a rough estimate from your friend of OOP for a full cycle and FET as well? Thank you so much!

@winsor, bugger that stupid squinter line! For the love of all that is holy - freakin' turn pink!!!

    Crossing everything for you love.

@krysta monash oop is 4-4300 depending on whether you need isci and fet 1993. It looks like there isnt a lot of choice in bendigo.

@krysta just realised my friend lives out of ballarat not bendigo. Would ballarat be an option for you? What town do you reside in?

@midnite, thank you for that info. Yep, Ballarat is an option also - it is only 250km away - closer than my current clinic and certainly cheaper.

I have a feeling my OB wanted to refer me to Bendigo but that is even more than our current clinic charges, and we can't even really afford that anymore.

Ballarat may well be an option, or at a pinch even Melbourne. I rarely go to the city (I prefer the wide open spaces of the country and couldn't find my way around Melbourne if my life depended upon it.) Still, that's what taxi's are for.

Plus, my parents live about an hour and a quarter by train from Melbourne, so if needs be I could stay at their place overnight and train it to the city.

Whatever it takes really. We are used to commuting for this - our current clinic is about a 4 hour drive away so basically I just have to suck it up and do what I have to do....

here's the pic just now. it's still a light line (pink). I had the second/last 1500 pregnyl last sunday, so 7 days. today is 9dp4dt. 13dpo
what I hope is happening if it is the pregnyl is:
yesterday = (a little bit of pregnyl + a tiny bit of natural)
today = (a tin bit of pregnyl + a little bit of natural)
ie pregnyl on the way out + natural on the way in

they look same or slightly less to me today. I won't get too excited yet
I still have some of the progesterone symptoms so it's good to know the hcg has triggered its production/release at least.

    thanks everyone
