It's an honest thing to say Luv. It takes courage to admit that IMO. I think I would also feel that way but hope I would feel differently as the pregnancy progressed especially once I could feel movement etc. I don't think you can ever know how you'll truly feel until you are literally having that experience.

So sorry it didn't work out for you @Tahli , treat yourself to something nice. Sounds like you have a couple of plans to choose from for future cycles ☺️

@Krysta74 I am so sorry 😢 I know this is no consolation but I too know exactly what that feels like and the thing that helped me to pick myself up was to start working on plan B. Give yourself some time to grieve then try to focus on what's next. It will help you to distract yourself from the pain a bit. Have a good cry in the meantime you poor thing. I wish I could give you a big hug x

BiB you've expressed exactly how I felt perfectly. I was ok up until transfer and then once the reality of the donor embryo was actually inside my body things changed dramatically. I'm going to book in for some counselling I think. There weren't any apts avail pre CT.
I rang Monash's donor sperm coordinator today and had a chat through how the recipients of my Oz SD are going. 2 are in the early stages of pregnancy. I asked to see an updated list but it only had a tiny 10 donors on it. So if I go into an OE cycle I'll stick with the same donor.
I think I'm leaning towards an OE cycle. Add to the fact that I'm too exhausted to fly back to CT so soon!!

Ta @infinity888 I'm super blessed if I get one 3 day embryo to transfer so PGD isn't an option I'm afraid. So that one embryo costs $5k with only a 10-15% chance, hence Cape Town. A CT FET would now only cost me $3k all inclusive with an approx 60% chance of success. @leyshoja any blood test results Hun?
