@Tahli I would send a msg now. I get irritated when people friend me (when we haven't talked about them doing it) and not sending a msg to say hi.

@leyshoja - hey Julie, if you get the full 500ml and they infuse at the right rate (100mls per hr) with the Hartmans solution (saline) before and after, it should last 3-4 weeks. But dr m does the infusion rate diff to pretty much every other dr in Aus. He trained under dr beer (is my body baby friendly author)

@Tahli how exciting man cub accepted your friend request. Msg away i say. He is a hottie btw. Lol

My scan went well still waiting on bt but they are just baseline ones. This nurse didn't like pred at all. But thats ok cause im doing them anyway. Haha
    FYI TMI lol
So i have this pocket of fluid in uterus its always there and even post hysteroscopy its still there. They usually suck it out prior to transfer. Anyway i read it can stop implantation i think. Any ideas how to get rid of it. Will the pred help this @Chiefsgirl @Bib @leyshoja.

I think the acupuncture might be working also as normally my left ovary is quiet but there is 3 little folicles already.... not sure if that will mean anything in 2 wks but anyway happy days. Bring on the cycle of Babies yippee. Im so friggin excited even tbough i shouldn't be. Haha

@infinity888 where is the pocket of fluid? I had fluid last time in the cervix and Dr W at CFC said as long as its not in the uterus it shouldnt be a problem. Does your ultrasound report say exactly where it is? Nice work by your left ovary by the way @Chiefsgirl I just had the awkward conversation trying to book in the next intralipid. I was told in no uncertain terms that it was to be every 10 days (by the receptionist or nurse or someone) and I explained that I was doing it in combination with fish oil so would be doing it at 2 weekly intervals which seemed to appease them. Yes, I had 500 ml which took 3.5 hours, so slightly faster and with saline at the same time. I think I'll just stick with the fortnightly plan. There is not much difference between $1000 and $1500 really, especially after everything else we've spent - If I go 3 weekly I'll only need 2 as opposed to 3 if I go fortnightly.

Just read my follow up meds schedule from CFC and they stop progesterone completely at 10 weeks !! I wont be doing that ! Every doctor I've spoken to in Aus recommends going to 12 weeks.

As a side note, I really need to stop with Bub Hub during working hours. Its really distracting me from my work lately - all I can think about is ivf/pregnancy/meds/yay/appointments/yay etc. lol.

does anyone know much about phthalates? one of the books I'm reading (it starts with the egg) mentions they can be present in people with fertility issues. and I've googled and there does seem to be some studies on them and fertility. originally I thought it was from plastics in the house, food containers, perfumes etc but now I've read that many textile manufacturers use them too. so it's pretty hard to escape them at all. has anyone been tested for these and found high levels? I haven't been.

actually I'm not sure how it could only be infertile people - surely they'd be present in almost everyone these days (which is a problem in itself, but not specific to fertility issues, if you get what I mean)
