hope she arrives soon for you then Corbes. it's always the way - she's late when you want her to arrive on a certain date.

Tahli, day12 is still early. sounds like a few early symptoms though, I hope!

infinity good luck for starting on sunday - your turn next

Julie/leyshoja, my GP is now ordering scans, BT's and the Harmony/Percept testing for me, should I be lucky enough to get that far. My clinic basically washed their hands of me once I got my BFP (although they do 'insist' on getting copies of whatever tests he orders for me.) So, yes, your GP should be able to get all that sorted for you love.

Infinity, thank you for the update. I'm a bit scatter-brained ATM I'm afraid Yep, Monday is D-Day for me. I'll certainly keep you posted.

@Tahli, I hope you feel better soon love. I am quietly rooting for HCG being your culprit!

No nipt are the new blood tests. There are a variety of them around - harmony, materniti and another one are popular. Apparently they are quite accurate on trisomy issues. But they don't pick up physical growth issues, so you still need the nuchal scan.

You did de. So I would say you wouldn't need it done (they are expensive, between $350-750) and the nuchal I did was $380 + $95 for the blood test, so add that to the new nipt and its $$.

My ob said to do the nuchal, provide the genetic counsellor with your donors age and see what the results come in at. If they are high risk then we would look at nipt. My results came back so low risk, all the physical checks on Bub checked out, we don't need anymore testing done, so saved $$$

Here's a shameless copy and paste with a basic description for you Luv

NIPT is a DNA test on maternal blood to screen pregnancies for the most common fetal chromosome anomalies: trisomy 21 (Down syndrome), trisomy 18 (Edwards syndrome) and trisomy 13 (Patau syndrome). Also the gender of the fetus is determined.

Good Luck with your scan and bloods tomorrow too!!! Almost time for you to get this show on the road!!!
