@winsor, what DON'T you have?
Eeeee HCG is 364, was 240 yesterday thats a 1.7 day doubling time woot woot. I'll get it tested again in 2 days, just because I can lol. I have a spare blood test up my sleeve..
Lovely numbers Julie! Congrats love
great numbers JM!
I don't have prednisone, clexane, gestone (though do have an unfilled perscription for pessaries as they changed me to pregnyl instead so I didn't need to get them), progynova or Inofolic sachets. I have some provera leftover from the start of both my long down reg cycles (so not sure why I'd take them now?)
I'm taking CoQ10+bioPQQ & elevit for folate. I could get some berocca (but not sure how that'd help).
they told me I'm not meant to use aspirin (or neurofen), only panadol if a headache.
+ if it's still going it'd be implanting now so too late. pretty much no clinic in the world is going to let me use OE after this as I turn 45 in dec. (was hoping to do a short cycle if we had to as my third/final but they didn't sound too confident there was time) am hoping we don't need to.
maybe when I go to use the frosty in future I could try some of these other things. but I had asked about NK cells at both clinics and they both said they didn't believe it and there was no evidence and the drugs could be worse for me (not sure which drugs they meant as I dropped it then - sounded like some kind of steriod)
@leyshoja - hey Julie, I have a box and a bit of inofolic do you want me to send them to you? They are just sitting in my cupboard at home. From memory it took a while to get them as they came from overseas. Happy to give them to you. Just pm me your details xx
Expiry is May 2017
@winsor, if you have pessaries you don’t need the gestone – they are both progesterone. Dr M said the berocca was for your lining ?!? Live and learn…
The provera is also for your lining – and I questioned why I would need it now, but she insisted. 8 per day seemed extreme too, but anyway…
The inofolic is not a prescription – its for insulin resistance, again I’m not sure why I need it, but got it from the pharmacy there. I actually ordered some online about 6 weeks ago and it never turned up and they ignore my requests for a refund. Scammers. It was expensive too !
Why can’t you use aspirin? Is it a medical reason? Otherwise they recommend the mini aspirin (astirix) to thin your blood and help with implantation.
Yes, the prednisone is a steroid. None of my other doctors wanted me on it either, but it suppresses the production of killer cells and anti bodies so that’s why they put us on it. The doctors don’t like it because of the side effects, and the possibility of cleft palate in bub but then that’s why they put us on a huge dose of folate I think.
Mine was a donor egg too by the way (in case you forgot) so yes, the clinics don’t like to touch our crusty old eggs J
AFM, booked in for intralipids tomorrow at St Andrews.
Chiefsgirl but I just bought two boxes this morning. If you are looking for a home for them, I don't think you'll have too much trouble but I have enough to get me to 12 weeks now
PS the price for intralipids at St Andrews with no PHI is $492 - surprisingly cheap !
thanks. not sure why I can't take aspirin (I'm not allergic), but it's on the instruction sheet - perhaps it was just after EPU in case there was blood loss? my other clinic had said the same thing.
