Post a picture of the colour so the bubhub jury can help you decide.

No she's not normally like this and she is really stressed with the wedding as its coming up shortly, so I'm trying to give her the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately this has really upset/ annoyed me (maybe that's pregnancy hormones) and I think it will affect our friendship as I really don't feel like seeing or talking to her at the moment. I'm just trying to keep some space so I don't say something I later regret. In the scheme of things I should let it go and I probably will but at the moment I'm pretty pi$$ed at the "it's all about me" attitude.

I wonder if she'll look back and feel completely ridiculous for asking you. What a position to put you in.

"No, that isn't my shade of pink but just in case it is, spend more money on a dress that you won't wear again... Just in case" Completely precious! I find this so rude!

You are being a lot more patient than I would be.

Personally if she is a good friend I'd make a point of showing her the dress and confirm its not pink and wear it.

    Good luck!

I don't want to post the dress as I'd like to stay anonymous (in case mutual friends are on here) but this is a screenshot of the colour from the website:

That's what I think but she saw the picture and 'wasn't sure' so who knows! Easier (but not cheaper) to just wear another dress I think and move on.

I would call that port wine. Tell her you found a new dress, she's happy, you are happy though slightly jaded.

Looks magenta to me. I don't think the colour is her issue. Sounds like she didn't want you to wear something you'd already worn before. I'd wear the dress!

I'd wear that dress , it isn't pink at all. It's burgundy. Return the new one. She sounds painful. She could easily drop by your house and is choosing not to.

That's closer to red or purple than pink I think.
