How long have you been trying for? I saw a doctor yesterday and I wasn't exactly truthful with what I told her.. I said we have been trying for over a year but it has been 6 months as far as I see it I am ready and I know I have fertility issues anyway she has asked me to get some bloods done and ultrasound she will then refer me to a fertility specialist so I can hopefully be prescribed with clomid..

She said I could try the pill first to regulate my periods but my periods are pretty regular and they come every month the only unusual thing is it goes for 33 days.. She then suggested prescribing some metaformin but didn't think that was appropriate for me... There are a few options I would defaintly see a doctor about it

Damn! I just don't understand how it could happen. Like I understand that all tests are different, different dye etc. I also understand chemical pregnancies (having had quite a few myself). However even when I've had chems, the lines would still show for a few days. HCG doesn't just disappear completely within 12 hours.
So frustrating. I'm considering looking into fertility medications etc just because I feel like it's taking too long and I'm getting impatient.

How long have you been trying for? The IC def don't seem to be as sensitive as the FRER. Well for me anyway. I just did another test. FRER was darker than this morning and IC has almost a shadow of a line now. Very irritating.
My sister in law was trying for a year with no luck then was put on clomid and conceived in her 2nd cycle.

Well, last year in November I had to have a D&C as I had a MMC and my body wouldn't pass it naturally. Ever since then, I haven't had any success. I've had quite a few positive early tests, and then AF will show up. I'm beginning to wonder if perhaps the D&C has affected my ability to get pregnant/stay pregnant. Before then I fell pregnant twice the first month of trying, but unfortunately both ended in miscarriages.

Ever since my D&C I haven't been on any birth control but my periods are very regular (28 days). I have steered away from temping and OPKs as much as I can as I don't want to stress myself out with worry. DP and I bd nearly every two days, however I will admit some months we are a bit lazy and that could explain why some months are BFN. I have told DP that it's time to get serious and properly TTC from now on. Temping, OPKs, and timed BDing. I feel bad as it does feel like it's starting to become a chore but we are getting desperate.

The other problem is we are both young, and how extremely naive of us to think it would be easy. DP is 22 and I am only 20, so I feel like a lot of doctors would just brush is off. I just don't know where to start and it's really starting to take a toll on us emotionally and is becoming a bit overwhelming.
Sorry for such a long post.

Just wrote a short novel in a comment above this.
I've been reading about clomid but I have no idea where to start or anything. Feel like I'm going in blind.

Have you tried acupuncture or anything like that? I had a miscarriage 5 years ago and my cycles just weren't right after it. I used homeopathy to kick start my whole cycle properly again. I'm not saying that's the answer but for me it was. I fell pregnant with my daughter shortly after that where I was having no luck before.
It sucks when there are issues and yes people will prob think that as you are so young it should be so easy. Maybe you should go see the dr just to make sure everything is working as it should.

I haven't tried anything yet. I think I'm finally coming to realise that maybe we do need some help and am now exploring my options. I will have a look into acupuncture.

Have you or partner been tested? First step is to confirm if you're ovulating and if partners swimmers are healthy. I don't know ur history so sorry I've you've mentioned this stuff before.
