Default Live in Logan catchment but want to go to Gold Coast

    Hi Ladies!
I live in the Logan catchment area and Gold Coast won't accept me... I have close friends that live on the coast and they offered for me to change my address to theirs so I can go to Gold Coast. As I really really don't want to go to Logan. Is there any one who have done this? And what do I have to change? Medicare obviously. But is there anything else?
    Thanks!

I don't know if Gold Coast do this, but it's not unheard of for hospitals to ask for a stat dec to weed out people who lie about their address to get accepted. Just something to keep in mind.

Have you considered redlands? I had my first baby at logan and had a terrible experience. Just had my second bub at redlands hospital nearly 2 weeks ago and they were amazing. You get your own room (just share a bathroom with 1 other lady) and the midwives were great. If i was going to have more kids I'd def be going back there.

I hadn't... I might chat to my doctor about it and have a look around. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure Gold Coast & Redlands don't have catchment restrictions. I'm going to Gold Coast & I live in Brisbane
