    Default Speers Point Park? NSW

Has anyone been there? We're going today and because it's over an hour drive I was hoping to be able to bring our 12 week old lab puppy. I looked on the council site and it's says no dogs inside the fenced area but because I've never been there I don't know if you can sit outside the fenced area and still be close to and able to see the playground and water park area. Would love some insight if anyone has been there before 😊

We go to Speers Point a fair bit. The fenced park area is huge and you definitely wouldn't be able to see all of the park area from outside the fence, and the kids wouldn't be able to hear you etc. If there was more than one adult going with you and someone could be on the inside with the kiddies and someone on the outside with the pup it might be ok. It's all really spread out and big so if your kids are on the younger side and would mostly be playing in the park rather than on the grasslands surrounding I wouldn't take your puppy with you. Have fun, it's a great park!!

Thank you for that. My kids are older but I'm going with my friend who has a 2 year old so I guess I'll have to leave her. Thanks again.
