@loodle, I have the option I gastric bypass on December 12 but I was wondering if it could be getting too hectic at that point. Or maybe I'm just procrastinating. Are you worried about recuperating and following the liquid diet etc at such a busy time of year?

Nope not at all, this time of year I rarely eat because of the heat and usually just live on whatever on the go smoothies I have time to make when running to do Christmas shopping and end of year kids school activities

But it is definitely something I do not regret at all !
How long did it take you to lose the weight ? Did you have any problems with any food ?

I lost most of my weight in the first year 45kg. Then over the last year I've lost another 7/8kg and I fluctuate the same 2kg (depending on time of the month)
I can now eat pretty my everything. I choose not to eat pasta/rice as it fills me up too quickly and it's too heavy. But everything else isn't a problem.
I can still drink gin & tonic. I enjoy bread. I still can't eat and drink at the same time and now I'm fit and healthy which is the best part of it all.

I tend to eat fish when I go out to dinner as it's easier for me to digest. I'm a cheap date as I only ever order an entrée.
