    Default dating scan identical twins

    Congratulations on your twin BFP!

I can't provide insight into ID twins as I am currently 35w5d with fraternal twins but I can say that in the early stages of pregnancy dates/dating/growth can easily be out by a few days etc - 3 days difference is nothing at this stage.
They both have good HB's and I would focus on that. It's only once you get further along that major discrepancies in size will be an issue for ID twins..

I'm not having twins, but my dating scan at 7 weeks exactly measured my bub at 5+6.

I have had multiple midwives tell me that dating scans arnt accurate until 8 weeks.

If you are concerned, maybe ask for a repeat in a few weeks?

FYI, I had my nuchal at 13+1 (by dates & 12 by scan). Bub was measuring right on 13+1.

    Default dating scan identical twins

I have heard that identical twins can be a little 'behind' compared I singleton and paternal twins because of the time it takes them to 'seperate' so it takes a little later that they implant....I'm not sure where I saw it but maybe look it up????
