    Default How many DPO

Hi ladies, just wondering how many DPO you were when you had positive test results? I have been told to wait until 14DPO to do a test, but want to avoid disappointment. Confused! Please help me gain some insight as this is our first month trying!

Hmm I found out 5 days before AF was due, so about 12-14DPO

I feel the same at the moment. Very verrrrrrry tired and hungry, to the point where i feel like I haven't eaten in days. I'm currently 10 DPO but was told to test on the first day of my period being due. Which is in 4 days. Hate the 2 week wait! Not sure whether to test now or not.... I bought a super sensitive HPT that measures 10ml of HCG in urine, a lot of tests apparently range from 20-40ml (according to the pharmacist).

I got a positive at 10DPO (four days before expected period) on a first response test but it was negative on an internet cheapie test (using same urine). Apparently the first response tests can measure HCG levels as low as 6.5, so even though they are pricey ($15 for 3) I like them! Good luck!
