Hi, can anyone recommend a company for airport transfers? I'll be staying at the waterfront.

    Congratulations cjocoh71!!!

While we are on the subject of twins .... DH and I have to confess, us too, confirmed last week by our scan, and now referred to as 'Bubski and Co'.

We are going to tell our immediate family on Christmas Day. M-I-L hasn't been well recently so it will (hopefully) be the pick-me-up she needs. All our family thinks we are childless by choice, so our secret-squirrel SA visits have paid off in that we will be able to tell our parents and siblings we are pregnant. Never thought we would see that. We are going to keep the 'double trouble' element to ourselves until we are into our 2nd trimester, on Drs advice and just in case we have some kind of mishap.

Wow, just seeing their little heart beats on that screen ...

Yay, @cjocoh71 and @Jennski! Welcome to the twin club!
@Jennski - we are with-holding the 'headcount' as well. But, are taking it slightly further; while both sets of parents know everyone else just knows about the pregnancy and assumes that it is a singleton, we have used 'baby' and 'it' etc. We are not revealing the twins (or finding out the gender) until birth. So it will be surprises all around!

We had the morphology scan last week and following on from the low risk NT scan everything looks good. We got waved at by one and it was odd seeing them kick the uterine wall but not be able to feel it due to the pressure from the ultrasound wand.

Due to their behaviour at scans the sunnybubs are known as 'jumping bean' for twin A (doesn't stay still) and 'flip flop' for twin B (at NT scan was faceplanted, briefly flipped over, then straight back again). Due to there being two the morph scan took almost an hour, including a chocolate break to give them a sugar hit so they would move around and let the sonographer get the required images.

Hope everyone is doing well no matter what stage you are at and wishing you all a Merry Christmas

@MrsErinR does your hotel provide transfers at all? If I was arriving on my own during the day I wouldn't be so concerned about using the airport taxis but I wouldnt personally use them at night. I think uber is only about $15, taxi about $20, my BnB about $22, the vineyard transfer about $45.
Super massive double congrats @Jennski to you and your DH! Well done!!
Im looking for a tiny bit of hope here....has it taken anyone else 4 transfers before they've struck it lucky? I'm feeling pretty alone after 3 unsuccessful transfers. It feels like a futile exercise, like I'm just seeing out the last 3 embryos.

@Tahli Warren's just done my baseline scans to send over to Cape Town and he's found some mild adenmyosis (or however it's spelled) that he said won't affect implantation - is that what you were told too?? He said he could do further tests on it by ordering an MRI but shouldn't need to. Just curious if we're both hearing the same thing hon.

Has anyone had their other half be diagnosed with high FISH levels? DH has had his first sperm test for this and it's 12% which is over the normal level. Warren said it will drop our chances of success by a couple of per cent. I'm just nervous about doing the donor egg cycle in SA... Warren said we may consider fertilising 3/4 of the donor eggs with DH's sperm, and 1/4 with donor sperm. Not even sure if DH would go for that. It's alway been my problem, and now we find out another reason why we've done 7 stim cycles with no success...
