So I've taken 8 tests and they are all positive. I still don't want to get my hopes up as my beta is tomorrow.

Congratulations. I think you can safely call that a BFP and I'm sure your beta will back that up.

As of 3 hours ago, I have my 2 'very good' embryos on board with 3 still in the freezer. I've made the mad dash back to CT airport just now and can't wait to get home in 1.5 days. Fingers crossed for POAS over the weekend!

Tahli just relax and sink into your flight seat and sleep if you can. Think of those beautiful babes to be, and how cosy they're feeling in their new home. Stop and Enjoy the moment.

Thanks everyone for commending Sarah for acupuncture. We have ended up cancelling the trip as my lining has taken a nose dive down to 3mm today. One last try for us with a natural cycle in January.

Originally when I was going down the Greece path the Dr sent out a list of tests - blood and scans that he wanted me to do. They look pretty much the same as the list that CFC put on their information pack. When I spoke to the IVF nurse to explain my missing period she wasn't concerned and said that they ask for a Hysterosalpingogram to see if I'm pregnant or not. As I'm going to go with CT now I didn't ask any more questions. I'll fill in the CT paperwork tonight and go with their instructions. We've decided to go to CT due to the choosing our own donor option.

I think that's what's swaying me too Offshorechick. I feel like when I tell my child about the special lady that helped mummy and daddy make him/her - have some information and a photo is better than telling and then having nothing to show or explain.

Yesterday I spontaneously wrote to Dr Le Roux and asked him what he would want me to choose in a donor - due to me being conflicted about over 30 perfect with kids vs under 30 no kids and somewhat proven (not a lot of info available)

He said choose a woman in her 20s, slim and proven. Well that person was in my top 3 however by the time I got home from work - she had been taken! Yes devastation! Available in the morning and gone by night.

So I'm on a downer today. Back to the drawing board... The only positive is that he said if I choose some and they've donated through CFC he can check on previous donation history for me. That's a plus!
