Still deciding which progesterone support to buy more of, Gestone at $30 for a box of 10 or Crinone at $65 for a box of 15.
    Great numbers Tahli!

If it helps with your decision:
With the gestone you will use only one per day (ie $3/day) .. With the Crinone you could easily use 2-3 per day - sometimes more (ie $9- $13 per day). CFC recommend progesterone until 11-12 weeks. This can vary depending on how you go and what you need (everyone is different) but I was on progesterone support until 22 weeks.

Hi Irishhellsbells I think we have the same plan! CFC a gave me the exact dates as well but have not given me the official confirmation to book flights yet so we haven't. Haven't booked anything yet but getting ideas! Very exciting isn't it!!

Hi girls, haven't been active for a while and now trying to catch up on news. Emski, so sorry to hear of the bfn what a shame but hopefully you stay strong to go again one day.
Big congrats to the bfp girls, hope all continues to go well! The beginning of the pregnancy can be quite nerve wracking.

Afm - 35 weeks and it can happen any time now! My OB said that due to the boy's positioning (face up though low down) there's 30% chance he may rupture the membrane. And they both are so incredibly lively that I wouldn't be surprised, they for sure fight for their space there

Al the strength and baby vibes to you lovely ladies! Xx

@Devaki - Great to hear from you, good luck with the next few weeks. @leyshoja - Congrats on being PUPO. @ferngirl - Congrats on your BFP. @Tahli - Great numbers... Hope you are enjoying Cape Town. @mardicharli & @Miss Sagi - Thanks for the earlier pictures... It is so wonderful to see the baby pictures. @ECM1981 - I didn't use PIO as my doctor here doesn't believe that it is any more effective than suppositories (I think they are called pessaries in Australia). I used crinone for the first couple of weeks but my progesterone levels were too low so I switched to suppositories and oral tablets. I had no problems with my progesterone levels after that. From my experience, I believe that the suppression in the first half of the ET cycle reduced my normally robust progesterone levels. I did miscarry, but it had nothing to do with my progesterone levels (at the time I miscarried, they were something like 78). @Irishhelllsbells - I love your name and wish you luck! As a single female traveller, I had a great experience at Lavender House, a B&B not far from the clinic.

Thank you canuck1. I really had a bad time on the injections. It wasnt the injection itself but the reaction it had with my muscle or something.
We stayed at hotel one 8 in green point the first time we went. It was lovely, only 8 rooms, awesome friendly staff and a nice pool and breakfast. It was about 15 muns walk to the v and a though so at night you had to get a taxi home. The second time we stayed at the commodore which is 2mins to v and a so great location. They were renovating but it didnt impact us at all. I am staying there agaib solo in november because it will be easier for me being close to v and a for dinner etc. Im not planning on doing much this time over, just focusing on the transfer. Might fit in a day trip to the botanic gardens if the weather is good

ECM1981 - For what it's worth I couldn't stand the injections either and changed to pessaries back in Australia after about 4 weeks. Pessaries are messy but my butt was too hard and sore to continue jabbing!

@blinky74 thanks again for your progesterone advice. I did my first POI today. Oh my that needle was intimidating but it went in surprisingly easy considering it's length. I was a wuss and iced the area first! I've just finished my intralipids with Dr W. He suggested that after the 35 Gestone ampules are finished to alternate between Gestone and Crinone each day.
Hi @Canuck1. Shirley who helps at Hedge House thinks she remembers you from Lavender House where she also works!
In exactly 24 hours I'll be PUPO, yay!!
