    Hi lovely ladies!
In Cape Town having transfer tomorrow!! Just wondering what way people got all the POI, needles and syringes home? Did you bring in carry on or checked bag? I'm going to ask CFC for letter I guess in case I need. Also when I go for transfer do they tell you what you can and can't do during 2ww? I had some instructions from ivf in aus but don't remember. Trying to write my list of things to ask doctor tomorrow so I don't forget! Getting overwhelmed though! Any news ell and Jen ?! Sending positive vibes to you two. Must be time for bt?
    Thanks!

@ECM1981 how are you getting on with your injections?
@Canuck1 I'm just so thrilled your 10 littlies will be with you in time for Xmas. It's definitely testament to your resilience and resolve. You're absolutely right about planning but being 'flexible'.
I fly back out to CT in a week and if this cycle with SD2's embryos is a bust then I'll do a final FET in the last week of Jan if I can get the money together, so yep, there's definitely potential for us to be cycle buddies!
I have 5 embryos left so I'm guessing that will equate to 2 x double embryo FETs.
Ive even found myself browsing the donor egg sites this week. Not sure why though?! Maybe it's a coping mechanism, thinking about plan x, y and z!!

Good luck for your transfer tomorrow @Lolly99! I only take a big handbag with me over to CT now, no luggage, so my POIs are taken as hand luggage. If you're getting several months worth of POIs plus Crinone it's quite a big bag of extras once the syringes are added. CFC are very happy to give you a letter, esp if you're taking Clexane too. Dr W said to go back to my hotel room and relax for the day with glass of red wine. You may like to ask for a photo of the embryo/s being transferred and a pic of them once they're inside your body. Enjoy!

Thanks for that tahli! I didn't know to get the crinone here as well. Should I organize more POI before I go as well? They gave me a few weeks worth. But maybe I get all the extra help I can!
I hope your FET goes ok next week as well. You are a strong lady coming back so soon!

I was just extra prepared @Lolly99 and asked Dr W if I got a BFP what would he suggest re POI and Crinone for the first trimester then worked out how much I needed and bought it from CFC as it was cheaper than in Oz.
Thanks for your good wishes. A week ago I still had hcg in my system. I'm hoping my body remembers it. That's why I've pushed ahead with this cycle so madly! Otherwise I would have waited until the Australia Day long weekend to fly back over.

Lolly, they will give you a sheet (or ask for it if they don't) that gives you the do's and don'ts). Definitely get the travel letter and keep it with you - we had the customs dog sniffing the sh^t out of our checked bag at Perth (and the POI was the only thing, apart from our vitamins, we had in there). We had to wait like criminals to get it xrayed, which made us miss our connecting flight to Sydney. Customs backed right off though when I said I had a medical declaration and that I didn't declare it because I took the POI out of Aust with me (which I did), I owned it and I certainly wasn't smuggling it back in, that I was only just pregnant (!!!!!!!!) and that I had to travel with it to keep me pregnant because of my age and that we didn't really appreciate them treating us like that and making us miss our connection. In truth, I should have read all the points on the form before just sleepily ticking all the no boxes!!!!! Whoops ... So lesson learned, though that's the first time I've ever had/seen the sniffer dogs in action.

Our results are back from our first BT yesterday. I said to DH that I was hoping for and would be happy with a number in the 200's, so it was a bit of a shock at 601. Soooo, I'm guess I'm pregnant Ladies! My 1st thought? "Sh^t, now what do we do?" Haha, we've spent the last 10-15 long, long years trying to get preggers, that struggle had become our 'normal' so I feel a bit lost now. 601. That's a big number to have to more than double tomorrow. Ohh the pressure!

    Good luck transferring Lolly.

Awesome news @Jennski fabulous. I reckon twins could be on the cards as well. @wazbub i kniw what you mean when we had the success preg of my daughter after many years of trying i was hesitant to buy anything until after 28 weeks its a shame that the infertility takes away some of the joy and niavity of pregnancy.

Jennski relax, breathe, and enjoy the ride.

It goes super fast, in a blink you'll be half way there. It seems like yesterday when I peed on a stick in Bali and got the pink line.

This year has flown by and been my best year ever. It's been wonderful so please everyone stay positive and I'm hoping you achieve your dreams. My munchkin slept right through last night 10pm until 6am. A delight.

I never had any issues with medication or needles on the plane. It seemed stressful taking them but people need to take all kinds of medicines so I could understand. I was never questioned once through International or domestic flights doing IVF.
