Default Travelling with a booster seat

Hi, wondering if you lovely ladies can help me?

We'll be flying to Cairns next month and I'll be taking a booster seat for my 3 year old. Question is when checking it in how do I pack it? In a big plastic bag?

    Thanks in advance

You can get special bags for travelling for car seats. Some have wheels to make it easier to get through the airport. Maybe check with the airline what their requirements are. I'd be worried a plastic bag would rip!

We recently went with Jetstar from GC to Melb and we just tied up the straps, they put a sticker on it, and we dropped it off at oversize baggage.

You can take car seats on board. It depends on the airline and the width of the seat buy might we worth looking into.
