had my second pregnyl shot today. the second embryo didn't make it to freezing unfortunately. it slowed down and had reached blast today (wasn't quite there yesterday, day5) but she said there weren't enough cells for it to be frozen. poor little thing. I hope the other is still going and hasn't slowed too much too.
    maybe test on sat/sun

@winsor I'm so very sorry your second little embryo didn't make it hun. How very disappointing and sad. Huge hugs. Hopefully the little poppet you have on board now is your gorgeous little keeper.

@winsor, sending lots of sticky, sticky baby dust your way.

I hope the one on board is a fighter.

    Hugs

Sorry to hear about your poor little embie @winsor...hopefully you won't end up having needed it anyway with a stucky one on board. @Tahli, great footage. I bet you've watched it and analysed it dozens of time so far 😄
Interesting the one that hatched... The really blow out when they hatch don't they !

    Default IVF over 40 #17

And thinking about it, they wouldn't have caught it in time because I don't think they touch them until day 5. I'm not even sure they look at the embryoscope footage while they are still incubating? Plus they would have had to pull them ALL out to retrieve the one, the n put them back so they would have all been disturbed. also a very fast developing embie can be an indication of a chromosome problem (I believe) so maybe that's another reason they didn't risk pulling them all out for the one?

Just had the thing with DP's family and their camping friends and bugger me dead another person I hardly know and never see asked me how africa was and if it was successful while he was patting his belly ! I mean FFS ! To say I'm shirty would be an understatement. His father has invited himself around for dinner tonight and I'm going to ask him to list the people who he HASNT told FFS grrrrrrrr. He has a big fruckin mouth at the best of times but this is just ridiculous. DP tells me to settle down but Jesus, do they all just get together and talk about my IVF journey all the frickin time? I asked him how he knew and he pointed to DP's father and said 'well we are all just like a big family' . Um, no buddy, just no. I realised he was talking about my first trip to Africa after I put my foot in it and said I haven't had blood tests yet and he was surprised, but still, as far as everyone was supposed to be concerned we were going to Africa on HOLIDAY !!! Fruck I'm mad.
