I have no idea @Bongley, that's why I'm so stressed right now. When you say 'official' does the mean you did a 'non-official' test today ?😆

    Default IVF over 40 #17

Btw @Caesardust this cycle Was different to all my last ones because of the addition of mini aspirin and mega doses of fish oil which both thin blood, the prednisone, and then I stopped the high fish oil when I moved over to clexane ( as it was too many blood thinners and anti clotting and my dr was concerned)
I reckon that super lining is from either blood thinners, fish oil, or that gel. Can't be the clexane as I was only on it for a few days then went off and will start it again tomorrow before I fly out Monday. I'm not sure prednisone would have contributed in any way, but who knows. It's a black art that's for sure
My lining has always been good, but usuall at this point it would be around 10mm, certainly never anywhere near 14.5mm

And how long are you in SA for? Is there enough time to get someone to check you out? Oh my god you must be so stressed.

I did an internet cheapie and there's nothing yet. Waiting for it to dry out.

@leyshoja how stressful for you. So many planets have to align in this IVF game - and I've only done one cycle. I was delayed in starting that one cycle because of various uterine issues that I never had before and suddenly started after an HSG ( or whatever that tube flushing procedure is called ). I had unexplained fluid. Given that the embryo will be well away from your cervix you would think fluid at the cervix wouldn't be an issue. I guess you have to wait for DR W to make the call. See what he says and then go with what your gut feeling tells you to do.

The quote is actually 'there is fluid outlining the endocervical canal' whatever TF that means. They may check me out on the Tuesday appt I suppose, but if this trip is a waste I will be filthy.

Hi leyshoja im sorry to hear your cycle is causing so much stress. Here is some info for what its worth. I have been told i have the same in previous cycles but they just suck it out prior to transfer. Obviously your situation could be different but hopefully not fx and baby dust to you

Thanx charlie74 im really not looking forward to that part. Do you find yourself more hungry on pred or is it fluid? Its all worth it in the end right? Like i said these babies had better be cute when they arrive.lol
Ceaserdust ive only just started with these ladies and i too am not yet 40 but they welcomed me with open arms. I am going to take there advice and start on baby aspirin, pred, vit D and acupuncture on monday. I too have had 5 cycles with 4 transfers and no bfp. I also have hashimottos so bring on the new protocol i have nothing to lose except weight from pred by the sounds of things. If i can help please let me know. But these ladies are a wealth of information and support. They have certainly given me new hope bless them all.

Bongley im sending you lots of sticking baby vibes. Cant wait to hear your good news.
