Ladies do you know what chances of triplets are from a x 2 embryo 3dt without icsi. I know its increased slightly with one embryo splitting with icsi but i cant find data on no icsi. Im hoping for 2 transferred when i get there if i get there but not sure i could handle trips?. Twins maybe ? Sorry if i sound confused i am lol

I'm not worried to be honest but I've always had a feeling we'd have a boy. I think two boys would be hard work..

@keyshoja you are not insensitive, if you can't ask hard questions in here, where can you?

Yes, I wanted twins. I was and still am very sad that both took, and then one stopped. We knew it was a possibility, but it still hurts. We are very lucky tho in that we have so many embies on ice so we have a chance to go back for a sibling. I will be 42 when this bub is born so I still feel like I have time to have another.
@infinity888 I can't reference any studies, but I have been on bubhub for 2.5yrs and have never beard of any our age transferring two and getting triplets. Quite frankly if they are not pgd tested normal you'll be hard pressed to get twins! Our eggs are just not that great at our age.

I bet you are Chiefs. Losing one from two is the same as losing one from one in my opinion. At least you've got plenty of second chances I suppose. How many did you have frozen again? Was it 63 ?

Hahaha @leyshoja it seems like it! We have 18 frozen, I know we are very blessed to have so many.

@bib OE if i have any left. Fx i do. Thanx @Chiefsgirl thats reassuring thats why im wanting 2 transferred as all my single transfers havent taken. Very likely to be poor quality eggs due to age as on paper they were great. Thanx ladies

@infinity888 Agree with @Chiefsgirl ...you've got fat chance of having triplets using OE's at our age. Twins is a slim to almost none possibility too if transferring untested embryo's.

I'm a case in point. Transferred 3 OE untested embryo's on Cycle 4 and Cycle 5 (which was a 3dt) and ended up with 1

ETA- I know you're a bit younger than I but the chances are still the same.
