Yep @BlondeinBrisvegas you were right on the money again. My FS is happy the Synarel is suppressing me & not worried about the 18mm follicle.
I'm finally going to be told how many follicles my donor has tomorrow night, yay!!
And I've had it clarified that I can't freeze any of my donor's eggs this cycle b/c when (I'm being super optimistic) I fall pregnant she will have reached her family limit, thus further future embryos can't be created.
And lastly you know how I had to kick up a fuss to get natural access to my 1st preference SD. Well it's going to cost $1200 for 6 straws to naturally fertilize 10 eggs. If they were being ICSIed by my 2nd preference SD it'd only cost a flat fee of $125 I think. OUCH!!

@Charlie74 i didn't know this. Thanx so much its good to be aware. I know with every cycle i have felt sadness for a while but because im going again it stops me from staying that way. I think if i dont get a bfp i will struggle for a while. This path consumes you and then its hard to fill the void if you have to walk away without success. My plan is to learn guitar and buy a horse if unsuccessful on this journey so that i at least have something to occupy my mind for a while

    Default IVF over 40 #17

Wazza has a side kick dr Charlotte moorling who consults with him in his offices. I got in to see her with about 6 weeks notice @infinity888
Had my intralipids, they had a slip up requiring multiple inserts of the IV and now have this huge black egg on the back of my hand, but the synarel is not a problem, you can stop it too early, but never too late yay!
After speaking with dr W I'm leaning away from the intralipids. If I can get one after my BFP (positive thinking see?) then I will have the one but that's it.

@Tahli Good to hear it's all systems go!!!😊

That is a shame about not being able to freeze any eggs but it won't matter when you get your BFFP!!!😁 Wouldn't be surprised if you got a few for the freezer too!!😊

$1200!! FFS's!!! Why do they need 6 straws?? Or do you have to buy them in a bundle like that??

I expect 100% fertilisation for that price!!!
