Oh ducky! 😂 I love how you can put such humour into this tough journey! Dildocam!! Rofl!!😂😂😂 I am right there with you. Still stressing over everything! I'm going to say I'm nearly in fat pants haha! My pants don't fit but I'm living in dresses! In 2 weeks I've gone from looking like a beer belly bogan to pregnant belly!

@MrsChino congratulations on the awesome levels!!! 🙃🙂🙃🙂 hopefully the time until the 11th foes quickly but I know it will completely drag until you see that perfect little heart beat. (Just the one completely perfect one 😉) I worked Xmas hooray! But spent Christmas Eve at mums so that was lovely. But definitely no break here- I am still working my normal hours... Yay for my 24/7 365 day job 😜

Oh no @BecT that is still a little while away yet. Fingers crossed you get in on the same day!
@Heyside I have everything crossed that something is happening and you can move onwards and upwards onto your next beautiful frozen bubba that will stick and bless you with a sibling for your DD.
@StillHopeful 😝 well a pregnant belly sounds by far better than a beer belly bogan one 😜 he he. Your gorgeous boy is growing well! 🙂👍🏻

Oh @Ducky01 you are so wise I hear ya! Sonographers can be a lil funny sometimes. I was ready to beat one up when i was pregnant with dd. The gp couldn't find a heartbeat and i had bad pelvic pain. Went for a scan and the guy was just la la ing along. I asked if my baby was still alive after a few minutes and he's like 'oh, yeah it is'. Aaaargh!
@keiko sooo far away lol. 2015 has been the year of patience! I usually get in pretty quick though.

Second beta is in! No idea what it was, only that it was perfect and as it should be and that is fine by me. Last embryo and it seems we've pulled it off!

@Ducky01 I have been in fat pants for the past month and a half thanks to prednisone!! Such a fatty. My belly is huge by the evening and I've also gone up two bra sizes...crazy how the body changes!! I completely understand what you said about us expecting our bodies to fail us at every turn. I feel like now I've had my NT scan, I'm a little (teeny) bit more relaxed now. How long until your NT scan? Just FYI if you haven't booked it yet, do it now as I left it too late and couldn't get into the place wazza (and my ob) wanted me to go to.
@BecT I am so happy for you!! Yay for great results!! Go you!! Yay for a sober new years eve haha.

Afm I'm 13 weeks along now and had my NT scan on Tuesday. Came in low risk for everything, but the NT measurement was a little high which was a little worrying. She found the nasal bone which was reassuring, and the heart she said looked amazing and was doing everything it was supposed to, that combined with my bloods kept me at low risk despite the NT measurement. So I'm trying not to think about it as she was very reassuring and just talk to my OB next week to see what she says. Got some lovely pictures of the little munchkin and am trying to be a little more relaxed now...
    Also, 90% chance that it's a girl 😊

@Ree888 - they can almost tell gender from a NT scan these days?! That's ammmmmazing! Mind. Blown. Did you do the NIPT testing?! I think rather than spend money on an expensive NT place I will get the NIPT- I'm yet to book either because it's tricky being xmas/new year and I also don't have my work roster for end of jan which is super annoying. I'm insanely anxious about the NIPT as it can tell you all sorts of info and I'm not entirely sure in my mind what we would do with some of the info if it was positive. Think I will definitely start to enjoy this a bit more if it comes back genetically ok. Well done on yours! That is fantastic!!

@Ducky01 I think it depends where you go and who does your scan as to if they'll tell you or not. Thanks to StillHopeful who went to the same place I knew I could ask the question so the lady was more than happy to have a look for us.
We discussed the NIPT test in depth and opted not to do it, as I wasn't sure what we would do if anything came back high risk. Now I'm still not sure!! At the end of the day they can only tell you for sure with an amnio or CVS testing which I will not be doing. So we may end up doing the NIPT but will wait and see what our ob says next week. If she recommends it we'll prob get it done. Ah. Sometimes I wish all of these tests weren't on offer as I feel they make you worry even more rather than reassure you.

    Hi ladies!

It was such a nice feeling kissing 2015 goodbye last night! I hope you all had a nice Christmas and New Years Eve!
For me, I’ve been feeling a little low. It’s hard to deal with all the babies/talk of babies in the family over the holiday period. I’m glad it’s over..
    Here’s to a much better 2016!

@BecT Thank you for your warm wishes! A huge congratulations to you on your BFP!!! xo

@MrsChino A huge congratulations to you on your BFP!!!
Thank you for the warm wishes and info! I had no idea that some of the Eve Health doctors work at the fertility centre in Spring Wood! I have been looking at Affordable IVF on the sunny coast which is way closer to me. When my husband and I were trying naturally I was reading about Dr Kirsten Morrow as an Obstetrician and she is one of the fertility specialists there!

@AngelK33 I’m sorry to hear about your troubles. It’s nice to meet you!
I can really relate to the heart ache. I can’t deal with people even talking about their grandchildren at the moment. My estranged brother has a 2 month old and when I went over to my parents’ house for Boxing Day there was Christmas pictures of him everywhere. When I got into the car to leave I just burst into tears. *huge hugs*

@Keiko2012 Thank you for the positivity. Ugh I know how you feel about the money issues. It was a huge blow to not be able to transfer our last embryo while we were still under the cover of the safety net.
*hugs* I’m trying to remember that it’s hard to understand anything unless you’ve had to deal with it or you’re close to someone dealing with it.
I was doing Christmas baking with a family friend and her two kids when her 7 year old boy said “can I do the dishes?” and I said “Gee! I need one of those!” as a joke because I hate doing dishes and her daughter turned to me and said “they’re pretty easy to make you know.”

@StillHopeful It made me so happy to see your beautiful little boy! Congratulations! xo

@Ducky01 Thank you! I think it very well could have been my subconscious getting me to take a break or really just step away and think about what we’re doing.
I hope that your anxiety is subsiding!

@Keepontryin13 I’m so sorry you’ve been through so much with little success! I really hope that 2016 will be your year!

@Ree888 Thank you for your warm wishes. Congratulations on your results! I'll be thinking of you and bub over the next week. I hope everything is wonderful. xo

@Heyside Thank you for your kind wishes! I agree, I hope that 2016 will be a great year for us all! J xo
I’m glad to hear that you’ve finally got answers and that it’s in your uterus. What a relief! I’m sorry things have been so hard for you.
I hope you had a lovely Christmas and a happy New Years Eve.

@Bluemeeple A huge congratulations on the BFP! Wishing you a happy healthy pregnancy! xo

Sorry if I missed anyone or anything! My brain is fried from reading and replying to so many pages! xx

@Ducky01 - I think you are right with your thoughts unfortunately hun after going through infertility we do expect our bodies to fail at every turn. You seem to be doing pretty well at the moment though hun which is great, hope you can relax soon.
@StillHopeful - Oh I remember getting to that stage with DD hun when finally the belly turned from fat o pregnant and I even started to get the first few comments from strangers, enjoy it hun.
@Keiko2012 - Sounds like you have been working extra hard hun hope you get some time to relax. I have often thought about looking into nursing myself as its something I would love to do but know the hours are very unsociable with a family
@BecT - Great news on the second beta hun that's fabulous news you most definitely have pulled it off what a great way to start the year.
@Ree888- Great news hun on your NT scan results and the fact you are low risk. Really hoping you can start to relax more now hun the second trimester is the best bit enjoy every minute.
@mrsthomo - Sorry to hear you have being feeling low hun its completely understandable at this time of year, it can be so hard I really hope 2016 brings you some joy.

Happy New Year everyone hope you all had a good one, we had a quiet one playing games at home with DD which was lovely, we let her stay up late to watch the kids fireworks at 9pm. We paid for it today though as we took one tired girl out to lunch who then threw a wobbly in the restaurant and then fell asleep on the way home (and we think we can cope with two lol!)
