I wouldn't recommend anyone keep one of their orange everyday accounts with a linked debit card!

Cheap overdraft penalty though. When my PayPal was hacked my bank penalised me $40! That sure is a sting- if people overdraw how on earth can they afford an extra $40 in penalties?!

Anyway, my whinge aside, I'm glad you've closed your account there!

I don't have a card attached to mine, never have and the account's about 10 years old. I just use it as a way for me to save, so a certain amount comes out every fortnight out of my regular big bank savings account and into the ING account. I am thinking that's probably been my saving grace now *touch wood*.
