Default Is anyone else in IVF cycle #1? Sept 15

Hello! I'm about a week into my first cycle of IVF and have been stimulating without too much trouble. Although last night I did the two injections and one was a pretty hefty needle. Just wondering if anyone else is on the same journey. I don't know any of these acronyms but keen for a chat'

Hi! How are you going with it all now? What stage are you at now?

I'm about a week into a cycle. First one with my new specialist & provider. We did IVF (unsuccessfully) 7 years ago so it's been a long time since I did it, and it all feels brand new - new meds, etc.

    Hope you're doing okay.

The needles are quite fine, most of mine I barely felt to be honest. Some girls will ice the injection site before to numb it a little. As for how many, it depends on your cycle type and the meds they give you. Some girls do daily injections, some have to do two a day.

Pretty natural to be a mix of excited and nervous at this stage. I was just in today to do my embryo transfer so it's out of my hands at this stage. Just got to get through the two week wait!

    Hi girls
I am 10 days in to my ovulation induction. I have been doing daily injections of puregon and pregnyl every six days. My specialist has slowly increased my dosage of puregon.. and finally my oestrogen is up Ill have an ultrasound tomorrow to check number and size of follicles. Fingers crossed for your two week wait babybeanie. Dont worry Nicole. The needles arent too scary. This is my first time on here.. its nice to be able to speak with others who understand
