I had some random guy buy me a coffee at work the other day, he was in front of me in the line. Must say it really made my day. So I am in.

Love this idea. I try to do things like this just for my own good. Most recent was winning instantly on those McDonalds monopoly... I gave the free sundae coupon to the food court cleaner and a free coffee to an elderly couple.

I havnt done anything recently but did have a comment made to me that made my day. I've got a 2 month and 22 month old and have been struggling a bit emotionally as I don't have any family in Australia and my husband is not the most supportive or appreciative person in the world. So when I was in a coffee shop and the owner helped me out with my pushchair and said "well done mummy, you're doing a great job" it really cheered me up.

im in, I often think of helping others, but then I feel a bit shy or whatever, and miss the chance. I need to just help and not waste time thinking about it. my son-in-law and i helped an elderly man who had fallen on the escalator. that attracted a bunch of people and we stayed with him until the security guy came over. we all can do more for each other, great idea . marie.

I'd be shy, too, so I think I'd probably do something anonymous. I pictured myself paying for someone's coffee in a cafe or whatever and if they thanked me or spoke to me I'd blush, I always blush when attention is on me :/

I'm in for sure. I do this when I can. Last year I gave my last $5 away to a firey doing a frantic shop for supplies of water and snacks for other firies fighting major fires in the area. I tried so hard not to bawl my eyes out handing my money over to cashier (to do it anonymously) because I couldn't give more and they deserved it. As I later discovered, my brother was one of those fighting the fires.

    I'm in!

I try to do nice things for other people, just because..

On Monday, I helped an elderly lady who was "all in a muddle.." As she put it. Took her home, found the number of her home carers and got a carer out to her home to help her. Then went back later on to check on her.

But I'll go out of my way to help people more..
