    Default Pram recommendation

    Hi all,

I am on the look out for an all terrain pram that can be used over paddocks and sporting fields. I have used a three wheeler before which I thought was pretty good. I am now thinking of getting a 4 wheeler, I have looked at the Bugaboo buffalo as it is supposed to be all terrain. I have noticed they are foam filled tyres, my previous pram was air filled so not sure if this affects its performance or is it all about the suspension? Has anyone experienced owning a three wheeler pram and a Bugaboo buffalo and which did you prefer for their all terrain capabilities? How long did bub fit in the basinette that comes with the Bugaboo? Or any other prams anyone would recommend for going off road?

I have a buff and LOVE it!! We have had a few prams and its far my favourite we keep it set up at home for our walking pram and walk over dirt/grass/sand etc for an hour each day i find it handles great, feels more sturdy compared to 3wheelers too. Bassi will last to 6 months or as long as bub will stay in there, its quite long so usually they want to sit up before they outgrow lengthwise. We specifically purchased the buff for our waking pram and haven't been disappointed. Oh and its never been stuck while going through sand either 😊

Thanks for the reply, the Bugaboo sounds really good. I am hoping to put a pram on laybuy soon. As I live a bit rural I will need to put the pram on laybuy the day I go to view it. I can't wait to see what it looks like as I have only looked at it online.

We have the buffalo and love it, handled some harsh winters in Boston though lots of snow and it great now in London on very uneven ground/cobblestones and in parks. We have a city mini gt which we use as a travel stroller. Definitely recommend the buffalo

I have a buffalo and it's a great pram 😄 I go walking a lot and it's easy to push and can fit a fair bit in the basket. Only downside is it can get a bit heavy up hill with a big baby in it!

Bassinet was great we stopped using it at 4 months but he preferred sitting up them lying down but still had plenty of room. We even used it a few times overnight.

Also you can get some great accessions with a bugaboo it becomes a bit addictive!
